I'm sorry I'm not going to read through the whole thread to see what has been said, I'll just give my opinion. I honestly believe it was a security issue. I remember Werdum saying he was getting death threats when he somehow associated himself with Frank Mir. Mir didn't even say anything, he had just broken Nog's arm. I can only imagine the kind of shit that was coming through the wire about what would happen if Silva lost. I honestly believe to this day people would have been killed in a riot were they to fight there. I thought it was completely irresponsible for them to even consider it.
