I know Linker isn't a fan of MMATH but Tim Sylvia just got KOed by ABE fucking WAGNER, you know; that guy who was on the worst season of the ultimate fighter in history and still didn't make it out of the first round. At least Cheik Kongo has the decency to by KOed by Mark Hunt

Timmy was never really elite, even when he was UFC champion, he wasn't at the top of the HW ranks. He was a pretty good fighter and definitely ranked, as for elite, no...not really.

If Tim came back in shape and hungry to fight, he would beat Kongo. Tim is a better fighter than most people give him credit for (IF he is in shape). Kongo sucks, but he would beat an overweight out of shape Tim.

He was awfully close to beating Big Nog, I'd consider Sylvia elite during his prime, though I'll admit it didn't last long. Elite may be a little too nice for him though, you're right
