Mr.Ultimate wrote:The movie starts off pretty slow, giving the exposition to all of the main cast and where they've been for the past 8 years, but I find it odd we don't know why specifically Bruce Wayne is crippled. I thought he might've had a run in with bane first and it was going to be shown thru flashback. I guess chalk it up to old age.
Bane breaking his back, that iconic scene everyone wanted to see, very brutal.
A lot more tie ins to Batman Begins than TDK, bringing it full circle with the reintroduction of the League of Shadows.
as far as the ending, imagine every fan theory put into one. Batman sacrificing himself, Robin in the movie (though by name alone) Alfred moving on, Bruce being alive and with Selina Kyle, and John Blake taking the coal. And Nolan made it work, for sure.
I assumed it was from the feats he had done as Batman. It wore his body down to the point of where he couldn't do it physically. I don't recall them saying Batman was absent for 8 years, Bruce Wayne was (I might be wrong). All that said, a billionaire like himself could make plenty of excuses and no one would really doubt or care about the details, I don't see why we need info on Wayne.
Overall, best movie of the year and best of the trilogy. The cunts hating on the start of it can eat a dick cause there's more to a story than action.
