Upon seeing it a second time, I like it a lot more even than I did the first time.

The plot is actually really creative and ties together extremely well. They also gave away some stuff that I didn't catch the first time, very well played.

For instance, Bane basically says early on in the movie that he wasn't the kid who climbed out of the pit. He says something about how he never saw daylight till he was already a grown man. So it wouldn't have made sense for him to be the child that escaped.

Just saw it. EPIC. Very well-rounded as well. The plot, action, and twists were blended so well.

One thing they should've changed was his vehicles. The 2nd one introduced the Hummer back/Lambo front car (not a fan) and the bike (tits). The batwing looked like the car which kinda blew. I wish they would've given him new car, bike and batwing

Probably same here... I don't know though. I feel like 1 is kind of underrated and 2 is kind of over rated.

Please don't misinterpret, I think they're all good, nothing really against any of them. I just think the gap between them might be more exaggerated by some than it actually is. They were all very solid movies.

Dang they could have given Bane a slightly more theatrical ending.

I just watched all 3 within the last couple days.

3,2,1

Heath Ledger really does steal the show in the second movie though.

Mr.Ultimate wrote:The movie starts off pretty slow, giving the exposition to all of the main cast and where they've been for the past 8 years, but I find it odd we don't know why specifically Bruce Wayne is crippled. I thought he might've had a run in with bane first and it was going to be shown thru flashback. I guess chalk it up to old age.

Bane breaking his back, that iconic scene everyone wanted to see, very brutal.

A lot more tie ins to Batman Begins than TDK, bringing it full circle with the reintroduction of the League of Shadows.

as far as the ending, imagine every fan theory put into one. Batman sacrificing himself, Robin in the movie (though by name alone) Alfred moving on, Bruce being alive and with Selina Kyle, and John Blake taking the coal. And Nolan made it work, for sure.

I assumed it was from the feats he had done as Batman. It wore his body down to the point of where he couldn't do it physically. I don't recall them saying Batman was absent for 8 years, Bruce Wayne was (I might be wrong). All that said, a billionaire like himself could make plenty of excuses and no one would really doubt or care about the details, I don't see why we need info on Wayne.

Overall, best movie of the year and best of the trilogy. The cunts hating on the start of it can eat a dick cause there's more to a story than action.

Dark Knight Rises made Avengers look like a pile of shit. He's a Marvel fanboy, nothing else. I always preferred Marvel heroes growing up so bias and nostalgia aren't an issue, but the DC movies themselves (aside from that shit Superman reboot and The Green Lantern) were just done better than anything Marvel (THANKS DISNEY AND THE SELLOUTS THAT ALLOWED IT).

I guess that I should add that I didn't think Avengers was a bad movie at all, I actually enjoyed it. I just always felt that Marvel groups/heroes were held back by PG ratings and their directors/producers. What I mean by this is that Marvel movies have been dumbed down to the point of where any significant character development can't be handled by their target market (KIDS), the rest of their sales come from parents and nostalgic adults who just want to see it for the name alone.
