state your bias/inflexible view if your a man thread

Postby doyousukadaweena » Thu Jan 05, 2012 12:12 pm

We all have certain views and bias whether or not we're man enough to admit it. How bout coming clean. You do have the anonymity of the internet

An obvious example would be karmablade's inflexible views on Brock. Brock will forever be his fav fighter and no one will ever convince him otherwise of his faults. So do yourself a favor and don't bother.

JDS has become the new Arlovski for me. I could never see myself rooting against or considering him the underdog in any fight until his faults (decline, chin, etc) were beyond obvious. In the same token, JDS can do no wrong in my eyes and I'm proud to admit it and no one will change my mind any time soon. Also, I hate Sonnen. He could win 100 fights, turn over a new more humble leaf but the guys is just a fuckin loser and will forever be in my eyes. I also have a bias against most wrestlers except Evans. Fedor is the goat. Don't try to convince me otherwise. That's all for now :)

Is this much different than Kusok's Official Be a Man and Admit it thread?
Sigbet: Hunt (me) vs JDS (jojo)
Account bet: Anderson (Me) vs Weidman (biscuits69)

That was more about wrong predictions in a fight.

BTW Spong is better than Saki now and that loss was back when he was 23 and puny. Just another speculative view for ya.

Nick DIaz is a misunderstood man, simply the product of a tough life; not a complete punk ass douche with no respect and i don't care about the strikeforce or hospital brawls. Fuck anyone else who thinks otherwise. Michael Bisping could win a nobel peace prize for finding a way to purify all the water sources in Africa and I would want to punch him in the dick if I ever saw him on the street...

No one can convince me they were a fan of sonnen over 2 years ago. When dude was the actual uncrowned champ in WEC, i loved the guy and nobody on fucking linker was saying his name ever. None of you so called chael fans knew who the fuck he was and don't try to convince different cuz I don't believe u. When he didn't run his mouth and wasn't getting caught juicing and money laundering and beat filho in the rematch I was a big fan, even though I was also a fan of filho. I absolutely despise what he has become today and because of who he is now I am an even bigger Anderson fan and no one can tell me shit about Anderson. He is better than your favorite fighter and thats prolly why ur mad. Also no matter what anyone says I still think Bendo and Melvin are the best LW's in the world. Same for Kos at WW.

Whenever I see Andy Wang I think to myself "Hey. There goes a warrior." No amount of reasonable debate will ever change my mind.
Chael Sonnen is my champion.

Okay, than I'd have to admit I've got some pretty inflexible views on Shogun. It's hard to be a fan of his lately because it's like one fight he shows up in top condition, in killer form and then next fight he comes in out of shape and looking to brawl. Shogun is a story of what if's with his injuries and questionable performances (vs Jones). I thought Shogun would certainly go down as the greatest 205 of all time but Jones is starting to pry that away from him IMO.

I still strongly believe in Fedor and that takes some ignoring skills on Linker. I have no doubt he could step into the UFC and beat all of their "top competition" including Alistair if he was given a chance. Fedor poses a threat to anyone, anytime moreso than any other fighter in the world.

I never understood what is so great about Silva, other than Henderson/Vitor he was fed with cans in the ufc and he was mediocre in japan. Plus after the maia fight I dislike him a lot.

Don't like point fighters like gsp

Always rooting for fighters with greco-roman background

And yes Fedor is the goat, Rua is the best lhw ever, CroCop LHK is the shit, Wanderley is the axe murderer and Henderson is as hard as it can get.

Arlovski will always be the shit to me, even with the Swarovski Chin he carries these days...
but as I´ve said before on recent posts, I stopped being attached to fighters, just because I hate to see them loose by KO...

example:
when Royce got murdered by Hughes
when Arlovksi got murdered by Sergay
when Fedor lost to BigFoot Silva
when Cain lost JDS
when I stopped getting too attached, I started to enjoy it way more...

That anyone who fights the Diazs will KO them or TKO them really badly, every single time i sit there and no tosser has got the job done yet. I was hoping Penn would score an elbow or something... then Cerrone getting a decent head kick in.... now hoping conduit scores with a punch.

This and I dont know why but i dont like Jon Jones, probably jealous that im 28 been training 3 years and just turning pro. Also the fact that no1s managed to hurt him yet, especially disappointed with Bader
