speaking ass a diaz fan this is the fight i want to see more than any other fight. As a fan of both fighters, I would love to see this fight.

Having said that, I think Anderson would either a) finish him via TKO or b) embarrass him for 5 rounds.

Stylistically , I think Diaz is tailor made for Ando. He's flat footed and comes forward constantly. Anderson is an awesome counter striker and will capitalize on that. Plus, Diaz won't have the size/reach advantage and isn't near as quick as Anderson. On top of that, Diaz doesn't work angles, although he does mix it up really well in the inside.

That would be a problem though. I don't see Diaz being able to get inside and do significant work. He has a good ability to fluster his opponent with his "punches in bunches" but none of those guys were counter strikers, or atleast o the level of, Anderson.

Lastly, Diaz fights with emotion, which can be good and bad, but he doesn't change his strategy on the fly. You know what to expect but it still flusters many of his opponents. It won't work with Anderson.

I will enjoy watching if it happens but at the same time, I'd be disappointed in Ando for taking this fight instead of a LHW. He doesn't have a lot of fights left and he'd consider fighting an established WW ? I just don't see Diaz coming close to giving Anderson problems, let alone winning.

And no, I never wanted to see him fight GSP.

How about Anderson stays in his own division until he clears it. Or if people are REALLY begging for a super fight, why not move up and fight someone like Evans or Jones? Why does he have to move down?

Anderson finished Dan Henderson, who is notoriously difficult to finish. Anderson is perfectly capable of finishing anyone.

Anderson is way, way, way too fast for Diaz. Soon as Diaz sticks his chin out and starts talking shit he'll get a foot or a shin planted right on it real quick.

It would be more fun than Spider's last fight. I think Nick could really get under his skin.
I also would just love to see Diaz taunt Spider in the ring, or flip him off between rounds.

Cocaine is a helluva drug. Would rather see Belcher/Silva. My two favorite MW's. But it would be dope to see Nick get destroyed even though I'm a fan of the older Diaz.

this would be an easy one for anderson... diaz stands right in front of people.. yeah his boxing is not just good, its borderline great, but he doesn't have enough to beat spider... even though diaz has had a lot of success at 185, he's not big/strong enough to do anything on the ground in this fight either... diaz gets knocked out in the second, maybe the first if he just stand there and runs his mouth when the fight starts
