That being said, watching the fight I didn't think he was actually "rocked" by that little punch from Kampmann. Instead, while watching (and now looking again at sdbolt's gifs), I thought Ellenberger blew out his left knee while twisting to punch.

I could be wrong, but when he sort of staggers away, it looks like his knee is very unstable-- looks like a blown ACL-- and he sort of tests it when he rights himself and waits for Kampmann to approach.

I'd be interested in hearing the medical suspensions.

That's what I believed happened as well when I first saw the fight and noticed his knee bending in strange directions. You can't stop some people from believing absolutely everything to be the result of glass jaws though.

okay! Glad I'm not the only one!

Looking again at sdbolt's gifs above, the 2nd gif shows him sort of test it around 3:29 (on the match clock). He doesn't look rocked; he just looks like he can't understand why his knee is bending in weird ways.

I would still always bet on GSP over Jake Ellenberger before or after this fight but I think regardless he has some of the best tools to pull an upset and think that unlike Alves he wouldn't choke and fail to even attempt to employ them.

I love when people say this when some one looses. They say it 9/10 times.

Kampmann has a glass jaw and a mammoth heart to go with it.

That being said, watching the fight I didn't think he was actually "rocked" by that little punch from Kampmann. Hell, he throws two pretty decent looking punches after hitting hit;

Instead, while watching (and now looking again at sdbolt's gifs), I thought Ellenberger blew out his left knee while twisting to punch.

sounds like his chin and knee are both glass, he might as well be Samuel L Jackson's character from Unbreakable

He is pathetic for getting hit in the temple, staggering and then recovering? Yet you cower behind your keyboard criticizing people for doing something that you don't have the courage to do. According to you anyone who has ever been rocked in a fight has a glass jaw. Maybe your pathetic.

Glass post.
