Aoki is still top 10. He got beat by another top 10er that he has a win over and has done a shit ton more than Guida and Pettis.

Its like he was diving into the shallow end of a kiddie pool.

My god I love this post. This perfectly describes 95% of double legs coming from non wrestlers in MMA.

[b]HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA[b] I needed a good laugh. Gomi was 1-1 in his last two when Guida beat him. Pettis' greatest win at the time was a Bendo who's biggest win was Cerrone (who's biggest win at the time was, Jamie Varner, lol). Beating Alvarez, Kawajiri and Hansen are all better than those wins. Rankings are based on accomplishments so it's funny that you go to fight analyzing at the end.

Kawa who? Whats hansens record in the last 3 years? What did alvarez do to aoki a few days ago? Bendo has only beaten edgar and some "cans" right? You made me laugh even more...

@ jack wouldbt be surprised if clay would just wrestlefuck aoki for 3 rounds even tho stylistically aoki could just eat up guidas style... Gomi & aoki would be interesting also to see of gomi could catch aoki b4 aoki tried pulling guard... Pettis would murder aoki tho, imo.

Shit, I can understand all the hate for Aoki but to diss Kawajiri like that is pretty pathetic and makes me think you're a troll. It's also pretty obvious too that you have a dislike for guys who compete mainly in Japan right now. Fuck those Japcans amirite? Also, Aoki would probably crap all over Gomi. Aoki's chin is soft but Gomi is trash, no pun intended.

Gomi would get subbed so easily. He got choked out by Aurelio and Aoki easily grapple raped him.

MMA has become a better place since Alvarez handed Aoki.

I guess liking someone who isn't in the UFC makes you a hipster. It's people like you who make MMA forums a terrible place.

so where does aoki rank in your top 10 now after being obliterated by a guy that was in the 8-10 range in most top 10 lists?

Probably not in there but what does that have to do with me liking him. You gys are so egry to hate on him you say things that don;t make sense to me. Arghument fail on your part now get out.

i like aoki. assumption fail on your part, have a good day.

no he got KTFO because he was so confident about his guard that he relaxed once he fell because it seemed like he didn't think alvarez would dare try to follow him to the ground.

needless to say, looks like he was wrong.

but aoki IS still number 4..... among non UFC LWs after gil, chandler, and eddie.

I would take Masvidal over Aoki all day. He went 5 rounds with Gil, with a broken hand.

i was JUST talking about that in another thread haha. i got masvidal at 5 right after aoki, but would pick him to win. personally i need to see a little more of jorge's TDD, but my gut tells me he would be able to defend the TDs and murder aoki on the feet.

Yeah, I think Jorge would have to watch the tapes of Gil and Eddie's wins over Aoki, and do the same.

He won't answer the question, he just wanted to try to take me down and leave with a whimper like Aoki did last night.
