Look at how much Chael's cardio atrophied in the Bisping fight. He was always able to push the pace in his fights because he was CHEATING. Now his testosterone abuse is known, and he can't get away with using as much as he was.

Who in a million years would've guessed he would come in with the EXACT same game plan that lost him the first fight? Unbelievably frustrating to watch.

In regards to Chael, we KNOW he's going to have the exact same gameplan that lost him the first fight, because its his only hope of winning. He can try to hump Anderson and land pillowfists till the time runs out. He can't finish the fight. So either he'll get finished, or he'll win the decision. Same as last time.

Hump? u mean "wrestle", and pillowfist?..u mean ground and pound. why all the derogitory usage of words. we should be pleased just to be able to watch the fight.

I don't agree with the humping comment but the pillowfist is pretty accurate. The fact is Chael has permanent pillows attached to his fists. That's why I was so excited for the Sonnen vs Munoz fight because Munoz has a similar style except with huge huge power in both hands. I really don't know why Chael can't generate much power but he just can't

This isn't about some 5th round legitimate win. This is about Chael's chances against Anderson...which NONE of us know...yet Spider fans run around like they have some magical crystal ball, or they've been in the future......or even speak as if they're the right hand man in each fighter's camp.

I didn't know mma math was still being taught. shitty fight against Bitchbing suddenly negates his performance against Anderson the first time around. I LOVE IT.

lmao and you are supposedly masquerading around as a fan of anderson silva?

have you seen anderson silvas documentary leading up to his title fight with sonnen?

direct quote before the fight:

bignog wrote: you are going to knock him out

anderson wrote: i am going to tap him out

bignog wrote: no you will knock him out

anderson wrote: i will submit him

You know, I've always had this sneaking suspicion that Silva eased up for 5 rounds and let Chael GnP him, with a plan to slap on the triangle in the late stages of the final round. I feel like he slapped on that triangle with such ease, that I was surprised he didn't try it before that final round?

Before the Sonnen fight, Silva had been getting regularly booed by fans. I think it bothered him.

What better way to turn around fan opinion, if you show a tonne of heart and win come-from-behind fight with a hail mary submission in the final round of a title fight? 8)

No evidence for this theory, and the idea is probably too clever by half. But I dunno. The Gi before the fight, and prediction of a submission... and a triangle submission in the final round of a fight that the champ was losing?

Seems almost too perfect. Like Rocky IV or something. Or Silva v. Sonnen I.

People seem to forget he fought Stann after his suspension and looked much improved with his ground game. Before Sonnen would mostly sit in guard and if he ever had back control wouldn't put hooks in. In the fight with Stann he was constantly trying to pass, threw hooks in, and was looking for subs.

Ya he looked bad in the Bisping fight but had his best round in the third and mounted Bisping.

In the first Silva fight Sonnen didn't really look to pass at all and went for one half ass sub attempt. In this fight I expect Sonnen to look to pass more and more sub attempts. He won't be content in guard like the first fight.

quite possibly. And if you're right, then perhaps Sonnen is in for some explosive and violent fireworks in Brazil.

No, lol. Its an impossibility that his plan was to get dominated for an entire fight, to then pull out a submission with 2 minutes left on the clock. Dont take this the wrong way, but are you guys high or something? That is the most absurd thing ive ever heard.

seems to me that foreshadowing and telling the world what you are going to do in a title match, because the guy disrespected your friends/mentors is pretty fucking funny, and then to actually do it with an injury is even more funny, on top of that considering noone has ever been submitted in the 5th round of a title fight is in and of itself pretty great accomplishment...

and fucking hilarious

coming from someone who thinks the usa is the purveyor of all things good and whole i tend to dismiss your opinions as fact, as hyperbole...

not to mention your right leaning nonsensical rhetoric aligns perfectly with a noobtard like chael, me thinks your bias is omnipresent.

You believe in all kinds of world conspiracies! How can a tin foil hat wearing weirdo possibly discredit anyone elses opinion?! Lsquared my friend, you should stop listening to Alex Jones and come join the cool crowd. Its fun over here. We got pizza and stuff, and no one ever laughs at us, except for the tin foil hat guys, but we just give them wedgies and send them on their way.

P.s. I liked Chale before i knew he was a republican. I must admit, finding out about his political leanings confirmed his greatness for me though. :P

So, to your eyes, the Anderson Silva that was on his back not moving for the whole fight was a man that was trying his hardest? Please.

The bad performance was either due to the rib injury, or Anderson's own showboating nature.

He may not have planed to submit him in the fifth round, but he definitely wasn't worried about being able to submit him. That was not a man who was feeling any pressure.

This also skips over the fact that Chael didn't do any damage while using PED's and landing the most strikes in UFC history. Anderson did way more damage off his back than Chael did with his bull shit LnP. And Chael was cheating. I feel like that can't be mentioned too many times...

It's like someone talking about how awesome Alberto Contador is at cycling because he totally rode away from Old Man Lance... except he rode away while on performance enhancing drugs, so it doesn't mean shit.

People who cheat do not get credit for their accomplishments. Do you really think Chael was confused about how much testosterone to take so he ended up taking at least 16 times the normal amount? (probably more, that's what his testosterone got DOWN to.) Who really believes ridiculous shit here?

Is this seriously how you feel or are you just trolling?

I mean, the sub was fucking epic, but come the fuck on! Silva got beat for damn near the entire fight and Silva threw up a last ditch effort to get the triangle and it worked. Chael is a well documented tapper, which is why he tapped even though an escape was open to him! Seriously, people quote him saying he'll sub Chael is pretty funny to me. Honestly, is that what you guys think he ment by that? To get beat for damn near the entire fight so he could throw up a feeble triangle choke that Sonnen is dumb enough to tap immidately to? I'm sure Silva went in there dead set on one specific outcome, just like every top tier fighter! You know if they say pre fight, you can take it to the bank. When that shit comes out of their mouth, they just say fuck it to any other route and forgo any ability to adapt to a fight...

That being said. I think Chael is a giant faggot, so I hope Silva KOs or Subs his ass, but if he beats Silva, I won't be too surprised.
