truly fuckin epic!! I guess Fedor's unorthodox Russian striking and his ability to effortlessly transition would be a formidable challenge for JDS' crisper footwork, heavier hands and speed. I still would give the edge to JDS - just based on his size, speed and superior footwork. JDS does not make it a point to take damage whereas Fedor does not feel pain or acknowledge damage - he just pushes forward until no one is moving anymore. This mindset worked in his earlier career (only just - Fujita, Randelman etc came close and those fighters in no way could be considered elite) but not, unfortunately, in his twilight.

Tito was a beast in his prime but the fact of the matter is that training is better now, cardio, striking, game plans and awareness is on point, back then it was not so much, I would say that Tito would have been a great street fighter but look at what Lee murray did to him, all in all Tito was a great fighter but not the best, will never be considered a top 5 of all time ever, king of the gatekeepers perhaps ??
I enjoy playing with myself !!

Sig Bet record 1 -0, undefeated !!!!

Nope, Jones would still TKO him. Tito was never good off his back nor was he good against good outside strikers or people with good TDD. Jones is all that rolled into one

Because you haven't thought about the fact that current Tito is more well rounded. Lol at Prime Tito going for a sub.

lol at him knowing what a submission is

Tito had submission he never used untill now because he cant rely on his wrestling anymore because he isn't as good of an athlete anymore.

I think Jon beats a prime Tito handily.

You mean he was "good" until the UFC actually had real fighters?

Lol @ this thread.

Judging by all of your bullshit answers, I'm guessing that you think MMA hasn't evolved since BJ Penn, Tito and Chuck were the best in the game. Of course they're going to eventually fall. That's a result of the sport evolving and the fighters simply being too old to train for the new game. Has nothing to do with their talent of the time in which they dominated their divisions.

It would be competitive but i doubt Tito would win. JBJ is just too damn long and is a great wrestler. As I've said before, I think Shogun's gameplan for Machida in their first fight (leg kicks galore) is how you beat JBJ, wrestlers can't out wrestle him because they can't get inside his reach and Tito is notoriously bad when he can't get the TD.

  I just see blind hate. And the same blind hate is what makes you think the Tito/Jones fight would be close.

If it's not hate then you're just stuck in the early 2000's. Jones would laugh at Chuck's zombie chin in the air striking.

Just saying tito has lost explosiveness when it comes to take downs. No matter how much better all around he is once you lose that your done.

For me it's not Jones hate as it is War Iceman!!

He had the strap for a long time and destroyed a lot of fighters. You show your noobness with idiotic posts like this.
