Excluding MMA/any sport, just weights and cardio.

I do too...well, most of the time. Life has been catching up to me, and I am too busy for as sore as my workouts made me, so I stepped it back until it is cooler and I can enjoy the outdoors more on my workouts.

Usually when I do strenght training I do full body.
When doing a 3 day split I divide it between upper body, lower buddy, and core. I touch on all 3 areas every time but choose one to focus on. I do lots of calestetics On my day splits which helps my cardio as well.

+1, well, I'll probably do Bis/forearms/Back, Shoulders/Chest/Tris and a kettlebell circuit when I get back.

I do full body workout with 3 days break between each workout.

My workout look like this.

Weighted Pull-up 3*5
Inverse Row 3*6
Squat 3*5 Super set with Hight Jump squat 3*10
Weighted Push-up 3*5
One arm Dumbell Press for shoulder 3*3 Super set with One arm Snatch 3*3

i always try to add more weight with correct form. Espacially with the squat and sometimes i use the negative rep for pull-up, its help me a lot to add more weight faster.

I sometimes finish this workout with some conditioning. I realy like a lot a combo of burpees and Jump rope.
Exemple : 10 Burpees and 1 minute jump rope. i try to do 3 to 5 round of this.

I don't like to do a back exercise and fatigue those muscles to do a leg exercise a day or two later. Squats seem more affected by doing back first than back seems affected than by doing legs first.

2 full body sessions a week.

tUESDAY - Strength exercies
3 chest exercises with 3 sets of each, supersetted with 3 back exercises.
This is followed by a 4 laps of a circuit of 4-5 exercises that work shoulders, legs and bis.

Saturday - Strength/Power
three chest exercies.. each exercise is supersetted with a similar power/explosive lfit.
three back exercises.. each " " " "
then 3 sets of squats supersetted with jumping squats.

I get enough rest and it allows me to do cardio and attemd MMA training without being sore or fatigued. i noticed a huge strength increase doing it this way as well.

Try front squats, or leg presses.
