http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/zma.html

Many MMA, powerlifting, and bodybuilding guys take ZMA products now. It is supposed to help one get better quality and deeper sleep and thus help with recovery. It is also said to be a mild testosterone booster. I went ahead and ordered some. I ordered this. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/muscl ... a-max.html If it works......wonderful. If not, oh well.

you can tell if your sleep quality is better by remembering/having more vivid dreams

Brand i Would recommend is ZMK but it can be pretty expensive

I've started to regularly hit the sauna after my workouts for 15-30 minutes. I have found that my sleep is much deeper during the night, and I wake up a lot less as well. Worth looking into IMO.

Never heard of sauna helping with sleep quality.

You think the timing matters? (Like after a working out) Or as long as you are just in the sauna

I usually do it after my workout which is around 1800, so my body has time to cool down before I go to sleep. I've read that if you do it extremely late in the evening your core temperature will not cool down in time for sleep.

I don't take it every night, just on the nights I have trouble falling asleep. It seems to help.

Well aparently one of the big companies that produces ZMA recently got sued. It's been all over bodybuilding forums. But most conceded it does help with rest and relaxtion. It's testosterone increasing claims, however, hold now water.

I do take it to help me sleep on occassion. Mainly because I supplement magnesium as that has always helped me to relax.
