ken shamrock or maybe sakuraba?
How sad is it that people actually argue "3 wins" for a fighter like fedor to say that he hasn't gone out on an extremely low note

Lamest would have to be someone like Brock, completely outclassed.
Brock had one of the lamest exits for sure, but the thread title says "Which GREAT fighter..."![]()
Saku and Liddell are up there for sure, but I think Saku trumps Chuck because he lost to b and c level fighters where as Chuck's last 3 losses were Shogun, Evans and Franklin.
Royce Gracie has to be mentioned. He won a controversial decision against Saku and tested positive for steroids. Not a good way to end a legendary career.

2 1st round KOs against a former champ and a young olympian
and he broke Monson's leg with low kicks...
That's NOT a low note.

Unlike the Fedor huggers, real fans of the guy know those last three "wins" were still a low note.
I would actually say Chuck and Crocop ended their careers worse though.

Sakuraba fought well past his prime, and then fought many years after that. It was sad to see him the last 2=3 years still fighting. The samurai should have went home to watch over the land long ago.
