First off, no one was banned for troll posts.
Tott was banned for posting a bunch of gifs of a monkey drinking its own piss.
Assurah was banned for sharing IP's with (or possibly being an alternate account of) the people who started spamming porn gifs.
The reason why we got to porn gifs was that we DIDN'T ban them.
So... I feel like that's where your whole argument just completely falls apart.

Right, I'm sure the "troll threads" had absolutely no influence on your decision to ban them. Every members complaint was about him wasting everyone's time with his threads. Tot posting a gif of a monkey drinking it's own piss a few times (something that's actually pretty funny) is not the damage equivalent of 5 people creating new accounts every day to spam threads with actually disgusting gifs.
The reason you got to porn gifs was because you didn't ban them? What in the actual fuck. Last I checked all the porn gifs incidents happened when 90% of long time members and past administration were banned. If you had banned them a week before the monkey piss or glass jaw incidents do you honestly think they wouldn't spam gifs?

First off, who's sensitive? What part of my post came off as if you hurt my feelings? The glass picture was just a joke referencing their threads... Trying to lighten the mood.
But anyway, I just completely disagree with your assessment of the entire situation, was the point, based mainly on the fact that the gifs started BEFORE any bannings took place. I wasn't even a mod for the first few gif attacks, and according to them, Tott and Asurah had zero to do with them (although Tott was clearly involved on some level with all of them whether or not he actually posted any). I was only speaking to the most recent incident this past weekend.
Which is why you're still not making sense. We didn't ban anyone until people started spamming gifs. Banning them at any point in time probably would've led to gifs, as well as not banning them would have (and did). Our actions don't really seem to matter too much as to whether or not they're gonna continue being pricks.
Members were complaining about all that. For sure. And I was one of the ones telling everyone to add them to their foes list if they didn't want to see their posts, instead of banning or warning, because I wanted to avoid this exact situation. The truth of the matter is that Tott should probably have never been allowed to come back in the first place, let alone 2 or three times. Its resulted in nothing but headache each and every time since the first time he got banned.
Some of us were too forgiving, some just lazy, but for whatever reason, we finally let Tott stick around (again) knowing full well that it was gonna devolve into retardation eventually. He didn't get a warning or a ban until the gifs. As for Asurah, we still don't really know what's up with him... so I guess we'll find out soon enough.
So the entire premise of your point is "We should just put up with the troll threads to spare ourselves from the gifs" then it literally just doesn't make any sense, because we got gifs either way.
I'm not mad, just pointing out the flaws in your logic.
