I didn't read one word on this thread but Jon Jones would win via Jon Jones cracking Tito's skull.

Prime or not, doesn't matter. No.

Everyone shits on Tito but after neck and back issues your just not the same wrestler. Jones would win but it would be a lot closer than some of you seem to think. Chuck would drop Jones no question about it.

  I just see blind hate. And the same blind hate is what makes you think the Tito/Jones fight would be close.

If it's not hate then you're just stuck in the early 2000's. Jones would laugh at Chuck's zombie chin in the air striking.

face palm by a guy with chuck in his av? chuck would easily drop Jones? you guys are delusional - you need to go back and look at chucks career - he really wasn't all that and he never ever did something in the octagon that was incredible - it was all very mediocre against lame comp... prime chuck would get owned by machida and second knee recon shogun and jones would have fucked him badly - just look at prime chuck vs rampage or even overeem before the reem gas tank failure. Pure pwnage - Jones would make it look so much worst as he would not gas... some nostalgic fail on linker today

Prime Chuck would laugh at Jones's pillow fists and KO him when he closed the distance. Jones has little to no power. Nobody KO's people in the LHW division the way Chuck did.

The reason nobody is giving Tito no chance in this fight is because most people didn't even watch him fight back then. Its like this every time a champ goes on a good run. All of a sudden they could beat any fighter from any point in time. It would be a great fight and one that prime Tito could win. the prime word is key here, not the Tito of the past 5-6 years.

:| You are talking to a lot of people who grew up watching Tito reign supreme. The main difference between prime Tito and Jon Jones is the evolution of MMA. Jones has so many different ways to go about this fight while Tito has one...takedown and ground and pound. I don't think it's too far fetched to say that Jones takes him to the cleaners 9 times out of 10.

So many ways? All we really have seen from Jones is take downs, ground n pound and submissions. I mean his striking is kind of sloppy and he he often tries lucky moves like flying knees and spinning elbows. Prime Tito was a great wrestler who was very explosive. I don't think Jones's beats him 9/10 times. I would say its a 50/50 split. Of course in reality its all just opinions because the fight could never happen.

Wow your really not giving Rampage much credit here. That Rampage would have KTFO of Jones. That Rampage was not tentative and would not have been shy with his strikes like he was in his recent fight with Jones.

And you're not really giving Jones any credit. I don't care which Rampage that was, Jones would put Chuck on his back and mess him up even worse.

I respectfully disagree with this statement based on the fact that Jon would have to grab Chuck to do so and if you can grab him he can hit you ,yes I know that Jon has some kind of crazy reach but Chuck always fought long and would be able to makeup the difference

Prime Tito is the same Tito we have now. Maybe he has lost a step in his speed but he is the same fighter he was 14 years ago. If anything he is a more complete fighter now.

Tito was so dominant because he was doing ground and pound and defending really well from guard attacks. Tito was successful because he managed to learn some of the bjj principles unlike Randleman or Coleman who were far superior wrestlers. Tito was also very well managed by UFC and was also helped by the fact the Wandy became so big in Japan.

I don't Think that Tito from 2000 could beat Jones from 2011. I just don't see where he would have an advantage other than strength. Jones is far superior in wrestling, striking, submissions.

Secondly Tito power I think it's a little overstated by some here, sure he has gotten some good knockdowns but nothing like a one punch ko power.

Tito was number 1 at one point in the early 2000's mainly because he beat Wandy, and Wandy became a wrecking machine at Pride, So it was a situation where Wandy was fighting the top guys at the moment but had lost the earlier fight to Tito thus making him #2.
