this is where i stand on the issue as well

there seems to be two types of instances where guys tap to strikes - you've got the guys who "panic" tap, i.e. pudzianowski and bob sapp; guys who clearly just hate the physical pain of it and have no real "heart" and aren't real fighters, and then guys who know they've been defeated and at that point they're just saving themselves unnecessary damage

and then you have a third category which is shogun - guys who tap to strikes that aren't even there, long after their opponents are walking away and the fight has already been called, absolutely despicable
