2012 a year for retirement

Postby batangastig » Thu Jun 07, 2012 6:54 pm

First Winky Wright announced his retirement. Then came Mosley, and now according to Arum, Margarito is going to follow in their footsteps too. Oh yeah isn't Vitali going to retire too after his next fight in September cuz of politics and being that he's already 41.

Margarito needs to retire. I dont see him beating any of the top fighters. He's always been an ESPN level fighter and if he keeps fighting top comp he's going to be blind in that eye.

Well after his payday with Mayweather, I won't be surprised.

Cotto is gonna test himself first. I say he retires next year.

True but he can't have too many more fights the way he gets hit. Besides, his family will prolly influence him to walk after next year.

He should get maybe one or two more real good paydays now that he's fighting for a shit purse under TR, then he'll hang up the gloves. Cotto finally made some real money, one more big purse like that and he'll have his family set up for life.
