yup headlining a PPV in the opponents home country doesn't warrant a break on the weight cut

They should just give the winner the honorary 190 lb title its not like they let anyone else fight at 190..that weight class would be awesome movement of a middle wight power of a LHW

lol yeh everyone fighter from now on should demand the weight of their choice if they fight in their opponents home country

Franklin is a joke. We get it, he's too lazy to cut weight and cant win at LHW to save his life. Not that he can win at MW anyway, he should easily win this fight though, its against wanderlie after all.

But yeah, this one is going to be a tough sell. Not as tough (TUF) as UFC147 though.

You're right. a guy who does them a HUGE favor shouldnt be allowed 5 lbs. also, if you go back and look, UFC had him fight vitor and wandy at 195 as they were coming down from 205 to 185. it wasnt his choosing.

Maybe he should just eat a shitload of 'horsemeat' and bulk up to HW so you think he's awesome.

Bro, didn't you hear? He needed a 'high profile ' fight like Vera to take another step towards champion.

Personally, I don't buy any PPV - I go to bars and watch the fights there so I'm not going to complain or say "This card isn't worth my time" like some.

It isn't the most stacked card we've seen this year but it is somewhat interesting and I'll be at the bar watching like every other card. $30 every other week is fine by me but $59.99.... bollocks to that.

I am so out of the loop on MMA now, I literally have been watching 1-2 in the last 4 months. JDS vs Mir was obv since their were a billion HWs on the card and they always deliver. WIll watch Silva vs Sonnen and go mia watching the olympics....then prob watch Hendo H bomb the fake Bentley destroyer and go mia again until the new years card.
Favorite Fighters:
1. Fedor
2. Machida
3. Silva
4. Aldo
5. Cro Cop
6. JDS
7. Hendo
