Werdum or Velasquez?

Who is the more worthy contender (aside from the obvious unavailable options in Overeem and Cormier)?

Neither. Getting another title shot for winning one fight is bullshit in Cain's case.
As far as Werdum goes, beating fedor 2 years ago, losing to overeem in a shit fight, and beating Nelson does not equal title shot.

Nobody deserves a shot at the HW title. Fuck this shit.

Fucking Overeem :evil:

Werdum, irrefutably
Sigbet: Hunt (me) vs JDS (jojo)
Account bet: Anderson (Me) vs Weidman (biscuits69)
Now that we're gettin somewhere, you know we got to give back. For the youth is the future no doubt that's right and exact. Squeeze the juice out of all the suckers with power. And pour some back out, so as to water the flowers.

Werdum is fighting Russow in a month so the only logical choice is Cain. Werdum will get his shot either way.

Tbh, these two should be fighting for #1 contender and fucking Overeem or Cormier should fight JDS.

That is a brilliant idea to be honest. Neither of them deserve a title shot, but a number 1 contender match would make at least one of them worthy.

Overeem=opponent
Werdum= victim
Velasquez= :?:
Cormier=opponent

Overeem and Cormier are the only 2 I'd like to see fight him. Cain after a couple more wins.

Werdum would be my choice given he's further removed from his last fight with JDS. He's since gone 4-1 with wins over Bigfoot, Fedor and Nelson. He also went the distance with Overeem and held his own, relatively speaking, on the feet compared to Brock.
Werdum coming off of a decision loss to Overeem and a one fight win is still better than Cain coming off of a KO loss to JDS and a one fight win and rematching after 1 fight.

It may be slightly better, but I still don't like either option. Have them fight each other for a number 1 contender spot.

Neither. No real point in speculating, since the rematch is signed.

JDS won't wait. The guy likes to keep active. But as the last guy said its all a moot point. I just think he would've been a better and still viable option compared to Overeem and Cormier which are not options at all for the near future.

Even though it's not an immediate rematch, it still feels like one... and I hate immediate rematches :evil:
