that Hendricks isn't ready for a title shot at all? I mean it's great that he beat Kos, I totally thought/hoped he would, but I *GSP voice* was not imprezzed by his performance. He telegraphed his punches, would always throw a high kick after Kos did, and looked pretty tired during the fight. Maybe he is ready for a title shot, but if he fights the way he did last night against a guy like GSP or even Condit, I don't see him being able to win. The entire fight he was just throwing overhands and uppercuts, that was pretty much it. Took Kos down which is pretty impressive, but couldn't really keep him down or do any damage.

It's not that I dislike Hendricks or anything, but I don't really think his performance merits a title shot, I'd say let Ellenberger/Kampmann get it over him.

i feel the same sort of. his boxing looked mediocore. i admit i was on the wagon when he KO'ed fitch (mostly because everyone and their mom hates fitch) but last nite seemed like he was just another average wrestler with KO power.

i still say he fights the winner of jake vs martin.

I like the guy, but he's not ready.

Is Condit still intent on sitting on his fake belt and not "defending" it? If not, have him fight Big Rig to see who the true #1 contender is; have the winner of cheeseburger vs. Kampmann fight GSP when he comes back.

Winner of that fight gets either Hendricks or Condit.

Boom.

Maybe he won't? Maybe he gets KOd? But maybe he doesn't. Maybe we are treated to a classic Wand performance, which will be all the more sweet because we fucking BELIEVED in this hero of our generation.

I think he might be ready. Will he beat GSP? Of course not. But I bet it would be a good fight; they match up well. Hendricks and Kos went at it, I don't know how no one got knocked out.

Truthfully speaking, he's probably the only WW out there who could/should get a title shot in the near future.

What happened to Rick Story?

Is he still a force in the ww division?

I know this is off topic. My bad.

So just because a guy may or may not be ready for a title shot, that means he shouldn't be given the opportunity to train for one? You know how many people GSP has faced that was ready for a title shot since he got it back from Serra? No one. For the most part, people are probably going to end up losing to GSP, so they weren't ready either. Let's not forgot that Kos has had two chances, Jake Shields after a fucking split dec to Kampmann, Dan Hardy after beating- (rambles off into mumbles) Hendricks can make a case that he's ready for one. Not that Ellenberger or Condit don't deserve it, but if you ask me, Hendricks has done just as much to warrant one. He just beat Fitch and Kos which are easily top 5 in the division.

Sigbet: Hunt (me) vs JDS (jojo)

I think that fight was more of how good Koscheck's chin is than how "bad" Hendricks striking is.

I don't see why anyone wouldn't want to see Johny against GSP. He's super exciting and he'd be the most dangerous wrestler GSP has ever faced. Before that it was...Koscheck. This is better than guys GSP is guaranteed to takedown with ease like Condit, who's only ranked win is Diaz BTW.
