Pat Barry is a beast and he's to fast with his strikes and to powerfull this fight will be done before the 2nd round is over. Barry wins by ko. If this is a close fight it's because Pat let's it be a close fight.

wow, i'm surprised at the number of folks picking johnson for this one. yeah hes big and powerful, but pat berry has a kickboxing pedigree, excellent mma boxing, and devastating power as well. I think you are basing your decision on the fight with beltran. johnson looked good in there no doubt, but if he knocks out barry it will be because pat made a mistake. Pat is faster, more technical, better kicks, better boxing, and in his last fight showed massive improvement in the grappling department. Not that this fight will go to the ground, but pat has better tools to win. Plain and simple. This fight is Pat Barry's to win or lose.

I understand what you are saying, but I feel like Barry doesn't put his skills together as well as he could. He has great power and technique, but I feel like he doesn't go in the octagon with enough killer instinct. Like he is more there to have a good time and enjoy the fight. But this provides too many dangerous opportunities for his opponents.

I like Barry. I just get the impression that he is content "just being in the ufc". he doesn't seem to have the deisre to be champ. I'm not trying to bash Barry, I just feel like Lavar is way hungrier at this point. I think lavar will go all out on pat until he finishes him ( or gasses out trying)

If lavar does gas himself in the first round, then Barry will put him away. But if I had to put money, and I will, it would be on lavar 1st round tko

You really cant judge someone for getting over excited, Barry made a mistake by being over aggressive and paid for it. Not sure how that calculates into Johnson vs Barry.
