The only way Hendo beats JBJ is an H Bomb that KO's JBJ early. I love Hendo, but no one thinks he stands a realistic shot at beating Jones. Anyone who does swear to you Hendo will just run him over is either A) Trolling, B) Delusional, or C) Retarded.

If he would grind Jones out like he did Rampage he could beat him. Rashad didn't seem to have that game plan in their fight though, so I really never got to see how accurate of an assessment that was.

For a 40 year old I though hendo looked awesome in that feijao fight, fast strong and used his skills well, in the Shogun fight he showed his uber toughness, Jones is just a different animal, he just brings so much to the table...Aside from an early KO I dont see him winning, anythings possible though.

'The H-bomb' Ooo who really thinks Jones hasnt considered how that could feel, or how to avoid it. Jones tosses Dan onto his head, elbows, eulogy, what a great career, now bury his old ass in the Octagon.

Imo Ol' Dan will try to Couture Jones, but it just isn't happening. I dont see where Dan has an advantage, unless he goes in all reckless, n be on the wrong end of an elbow, spinning or not.

Well here are the facts...
Hendo is literally one of the pound for pound best of all time and Chael said it perfectly clear in his last Q and A by calling him that. The reason behind it is he fought in three different weight classes and won numerous world titles. He's also got a right hand that can probably knock over any skyscraper on the planet and if he connects on your jaw, you're going out.

It seems that the older Dan gets the better and more dominant he becomes. I voted for him as fighter of the year and I believed he had a better 2011 than even Jones did (mostly because I love Hendo and despise Jones). Hendo has the heart of a champion, a steal plate for a chin and monstrous, thunderous and vicious power in both hands.

And btw, nobody's caught onto Hendo's little trick of the inside left kick followed by the overhand right or right hook. That's the shot he knocked Bisping out with and the shot that damn near ended Shogun's night. He tries it all the time and if he connects on Jones it's gonna have the same results. Jones is good but nobody can take a full powered punch from Dan Henderson and I'd love to see someone argue that. So will he win? Probably not. But damnit that would be a glorious day if he did

i've seen random posts here and there claiming that those guys either didnt deserve title shots (machida) or were not interested in fighting anymore (rampage) or knee surgery blah blah blah (shogun). now that evans has been defeated and henderson is about to get effortlessly destroyed i predict an influx of desperate claims from the jones haters.

the "fake humble/cocky" claims dont seem to be taking away from his fighting prowess so the only thing left to do is discredit every one of his past opponents. that...and make it seem like he's the only fighter who cuts weight.
