okay, bj penn's return?

Postby mike521 » Tue May 01, 2012 2:14 am

Okay so we all know he is going to return, but the real question is do we really want him to return if he stays
with the same camp? No of course not, so what do you guys think? will Bj switch camps for his return?

I would really like to see Bj at blackhouse or over to greg jacksons

I am a huge Bj fan, but if he chooses to stay with the same team i would not even want to pay to watch him
fight, and would be extremely disappointed in his poor choice.

okay what is your guys thoughts on this, Discuss-

His ego is still to bruised from Nick's ass whooping, BJ will never come back. IF he does, he will yield the same results because he will go ahead and keep on surrounding himself with yes men who do not push him. Fuck Jackson's camp, BJ would be better off training with Shields, Gil, and the Diaz' ( all the beef aside, I mean, he did train with hughes even though Hughes beat him ) That camp would get him to where his cardio should be.
Brickbat went easy on me because I bought into the Bisping tuf Brit hype and because he is not a slick-armed faggot pedophile like JoJo. . .

He has to really step up his SC routine if he wants to compete at a high level again.

No he will return, him and dana have been talking, and i dont think he would be welcomed at the gracie camp because
of nate diaz and gilbert melendez being top contenders for the lw crown

His first fight back will be against mental discipline.

If he gets with the right camp, he would be the LW champ again easily.

For real... when he's on he is a totally different fighter. That lazy bastard cost me two sigbets. Never again. He's one of the best fighters out there, when he wants to be.

I hope he comes back and looks like he did against Diego. He was downright scarey in that fight.

What is this 'we all know he is going to return' business? Penn last week seems to have been indicating he was staying retired (read something here anyway, maybe an old article, though). I don't 'know' Penn is returning, and unless his heart and mind are fully into being his best I don't really care to see him show up only to disappoint his fans again.

I think Jackson's or Blackhouse would be great for him to use, but I just don't think Penn wants to leave the islands. Who would?

If BJ returns it means he's ready to return, I trust that his camp wouldn't matter, at least this time. You can worry about that his 2nd fight back. With BJ it's all about fire and whether or not it's ignited or burnt out. After that ass whooping he took from Diaz It's going to slowly build and at some point it will make BJ come back. It's just how some fighters operate...

In terms of motivation, I think he can get the spark back if he just switches camps. New people, new atmosphere, he can learn a few new things, etc. His personality and fighting style mixes best with Cesar Gracie's crew if BJ can get rid of his beef against Diaz.
