Just watched "The Hammer"

Postby solidkevin » Sun Apr 29, 2012 4:39 pm

Its on netflix if anyone is interested, I very much enjoyed it! Never really was a fan of hamill (not that I disliked him) but it was nice to see a success story like this, hamill was never a champ but he accomplished a lot, war hamill!

I give it an 8/10 worth a watch.

its in my que. i just havent got around to watching it yet. I imagine that it couldn't be as bad as Never Back Down 2. Todd Duffee acts like he fights, and that's usually bad.

MMA fighters and movies don't mix too well. Kinda like rappers and movies too.... (I'm talking straight to you ja rule)

Just thought meh when i saw the trailer. Will it surprise me like "Warrior"? because that movie really caught me off guard lol. The casino/hotel scene with the dad and tommy was well done.

Nah theres nothing on that level, overall its just a feel good movie, nothing great about it but nothing bad either, just a solid movie imo.

Warrior really surprised me, the fight part was obviously embellished for theatrics, but overall great sports movie. I hope there isn't a random sequel to make the name even worst... something similar to Boondock Saints and American Psycho (not sports but still)

Im a fan of Hamill because of his life-story and how he managed to be a solid fighter give his "disability". It looks like a solid movie to watch

So did Hamil rip off the name from Coleman, or vice versa? Surprised there hasnt been a lawsuit by now.
