notice no hate for C.C. in my posts.
and when you refrence diaz's complaining, you are refering to what he said in the cage post fight right? after he gave respect to condit, and you're not implying that diaz doesn't try to get better just complains - are you?
maybe its not a street fight, but its still supposed to be a fight, or should we start refering to these as atheletic contests? ultimate athletic contests.

No, if my favorite fighter (shogun) were to lets say get LnP, then yea I would be pissed but at the same time, thats the way things are, its within the rules and he lost, get better at BJJ, get better TDD, you only get layed n prayed because you allow it to happen because of your weaknesses. And you seem to imply that I dislike Diaz, in fact I love his style his overall toughness, I may not like the way he acts personality wise a lot of times but that's irrelevant when fighting.
And as far as Diaz complaining, he complains a LOT about a lot of things, he is always complaining about something and it just gets tiring, I wasn't implying that he dosnt train as youd have to be real naive to think Diaz doesn't train hard, my point was mainly that if you lost the fight then so what, get better and move on rather then complaining so much and its not like completely dominated the fight, it was close.
And while yes its not a street fight but still a fight, I agree except when a guy comes to basically lay on top of another guy, THAT is not fighting but if a wrestler takes a guy down, keeps on Gnp, going for subs, controlling the guy, then while yea it wasnt the most exciting or a war but he won, if that was a street fight and a wrestler gets you down imagine what they could do.
Either way on the topic of this fight, Im not sure what people think CC should have done, get into a striking war with Diaz? As I said before that is very risky as straight up KO'ng Diaz is extremely hard, getting into a brawl is not a good idea with Diaz, go to the ground with him? NOT a good idea, his best bet was to not let Diaz turn it into a brawl, move around a lot especially out of corners and just kept landing shots on him. And plus why is all the blame put on CC? If Diaz was smarter he would have quit chasing him and cut him off at a corner, grab him, go for takedowns, bully him against the cage etc, he could have tried much more, instead he decided to just chase him and get mad.
Overall I liked it.
