diaz vs miller?

Postby mike521 » Fri Apr 27, 2012 9:16 pm

What is your guys take on this fight? i believe its going to come down to who has better stand up which i believe is nate diaz.
in the ground game i believe they are both equal, and neither of them are gonna be looking for the take down unless
an opportunity presents it self.

so discuss

Going to be a good fight. Miller has been in there with some good powerful strikers, (Maynard, Edgar, Guillard) and has not been finished by any of them. Yeah they are about equal in the grappling department. Tough call on this one. Nate is riding a good win streak right now and could pull it out but something tells me Miller gets the decision here. Although Nate could pull it off as well.

Nate i think would land more on the feet because of his range and hand frequency, but if Miller can get him down and control him then i can see it going in Miller' favor cuz diaz has a problem with wrestlers like he did in the Stevenson fight, so i think this is one of those fights where it comes down to who can implement their game plan better than the other

I think Miller will probably take this one - I was impressed by Diaz when he fought Cerrone, but I think Jim will implement a different game plan and probably win via decision.

Boecek tooled miller on the ground I think Nate will do the same it will be eve imo Im actually curious to see how this goes bc a lot of fighters are good "grapplers" but they dont want to roll with the 209! Diaz via 5th round stoppage!

I'll bet you for a year if he wont. Diaz finishes miller light in this fight.

Nate has one TKO in six years and you think he is going to TKO Miller, who has never been finished.

Miller via decision

Statistically, how could you have Nate for this fight.
Nate is an up and down throughout his career.

Miller only lost to Edgar, Maynard, and was pretty ill when he fought Bendo. Nate? pfft...

I'll never root for Nate Diaz, but this fight, I have good reason to root for Miller. Always a fan anyways.

i see diaz wanting to strike, with miller wanting to take it down, but diaz grappling is good so diaz wins via more scrappy and cancelling out the ground game...

good fight though both guys are gamers no lnp up in this piece.
