Honestly, I'd give him mad props if he did that. I seriously doubt he'll even make it to the title at HW, at least at this point. So far, Jones' biggest advantage over the guys he's beaten is that he's, well, WAY bigger than them. Once you take that away, I don't think his skills actually take him very far. His wrestling would get exposed pretty hardcore by wrestlers like Carwin and Cain. His striking would get exposed by JDS, Overeem, and Barry. His BJJ would get exposed by guys like Big Nog and Mur. Honestly I'm not even sure if he'd be able to hang with guys like Struve.
I really think Jones should stay at LHW. I think of the situation a lot like I think of BJ Penn's situation at LW. At LHW Jones is pretty much unstoppable, but once he moves up his performances will diminish greatly. It's similar, like I said, to the situation BJ use to be in. There was no real threat to him at LW for awhile, so he tested the waters at WW with mixed results.
