Erik Koch vs Dustin Poirier

These guys have similar records, both 23 years old, both good strikers with a good well rounded game, both only 1 loss to wrestlers (danny castillo and chad mendes, war alpha male? Lol) question is, whos better? We would have found out if not for injury as they were schedueld to fight, looks like Koch is next for Aldo.

I won't even sit here and insult your intelligence, I'll come out say this. I'm horribly biased towards Koch as he's a training partner of Pettis. He's very similar to Pettis in alot of ways too. So I'm gonna go with Koch. I'll enjoy watching Aldo take on another top level FW striker.

Poirier has the way better ground game and the striking is even, so Poirier is better imo. I've been talking about him being the future champion since his WEC days. Even though Koch has more submission wins Poirier is pulling off some wild shit.

Poirier is better. I think the UFC just needed an opponent for Aldo to fight in Brazil. Poirier was already booked and Aldo vs Hioki really isn't as exciting a matchup as Aldo/Koch.

I say DP but both guys get murdered by aldo as well as Hioki.

This fight was supposed to happen once or twice but there were injuries. Rumors are koch will fight aldo soon.

Yeah I really wanted to see this fight,hopefully it happens in the future i'd have to go with Koch though.

Erik Koch has more submission wins than KO wins, but obviously prefers to stand. I would say they are even, but Dustin looks like he might have a power advantage. Not sure about speed. Both are pretty quick. I think it would be a great fight.
