I don't know if this has already been posted or if its common knowledge or not but I just caught it at the end of UFC 145.

Jon Jones's Mum is blind? I never knew that and I'm surprised it has never really been mentioned, I don't mean to sound brutal but hype trains tend to roll on sob stories but this seems to have just cruised under the radar. Must have been hard for him and his brother, maybe he did not want it mentioned? Here is a vid:

Side note: I heard his brother also trains and is a heavyweight, could be a force if he goes pro-that's if hes anything like his little brother.

hes a dline..... there all big fuckers lolol.... u cant play pro dline and be small. your avg dlineman is around 285.. this is why ALOT of college dline players get turned into linebackers because there too small.

think of it this way... starting dline range between brock(if brock constantly played football he would of made the team, he passed all the physical stuff with breeze he just didnt have the pure football skills) and bigfoot.... your starting lb is around cain and jds

he might be senseitive to the issue and trys to keep in hidden...if your talking about his brother arthur, he just trains with jon at jackson mma for his football skills. its like how some ball players take ballet. mma training helps alot esp at a physical position that he plays. i dont think he'll ever go pro in mma, he just got promoted to starting dline and as i said he mainly goes to improve his physical skills and help jon out

On topic, that is an admirable woman. She raised her kids to be strong and decent, good people who are positive role models for society in general, not just Afro-Americans. (hey, Mother's Day is coming up soon and I'm getting an early start...if you don't love your mama there is something wrong)

euros sure seem to have a weird outlook on the blind. seems like you think they can't handle themselves just fine. my pop is blind and for a good example even though he can't catch a ball i throw to him he still taught me how to play catch as a boy. he became a lawyer and plays golf quite often. my father also does all of the cooking in the family unless i come to do some for him just being a nice son and all. he does a fuck ton of yard work and has lived a full unrestricted life. being blind really isn't that bad. my aunt is also blind and is a competitive archer and outdoor enthusiast.
