I'm already mentally trying to prepare for the next few years, but no matter how much you do, you are never actually prepared for it. You're doing the right thing by just making it as pleasant as possible for her.

Fuckin' Illinois tollways are complete shit. The cheapest toll at any plaza on I-355 is $1.90. The majority of them are $2.90 or $3.80. I have to take the tollway too, cause it shaves a 45 minute drive into a 10-15 minute drive. I wonder how much money they make daily with their faggot trollways. One of the many reasons Illinois is the most corrupt state in the US. Also can't forget about the fact that all of our Governors keep ending up in jail.

Dude, the Tollways do suck balls. Luckily I only pass through a small section of them on the way to Michigan most of the time, but it is still over a dollar to use it maybe like, 5 miles... They are always doing the most pointless roadwork too. I live in a small town outside of peoria. They seriously just spent a million dollars to 'renovate Main Street'. On that street are two dollar stores, a couple gas stations, fast food place and a couple of bars... a fucking million dollars... SMH.
