Fighters You Are Surprised Actually Have Fans.

After solidkev made that "As a fan of Paulo Thiago....." thread, I was actually surprised PT had many fans. Dude is super bad ass being a Brazilian cop and bjj black belt outta blackhouse, but he is one of the least likeable fighters, IMO. I guess its due to how much hate Kos gets and PT put him on his ass, and I respect the shit outta of him for that cuz I'm a Kos fan, but dude just doesn't seem likeable. Looking like the bad boy logo :lol:

Chael Sonnen not so much for his way with words ( which i laugh at on a daily basis) , but his style , don't get me wrong it seems to work for him , but it doesn't appeal to me.
Also i think he's got so many fans because of the amount of Anderson haters their is. :geek:

yup.
sonnen's style is boring as hell.
yet they call gsp boring.

plus, sonnen's personality is an absolute troll to the highest degree.
add in that he's a liar, cheater, and thief. (facts, not bashing)

he doesn't have fans.
only anderson haters.

A few of my friends have him as their favorite fighter because they went to Purdue, but their inability to give me a logical reason as to why he's their favorite has led me to think that he doesn't have many fans.

Big fan of Cyrille Diabate and Mark Hunt. Hunt it pretty well known and popular, not sure if I've heard many people praising Diabate with the exception of after the Cantwell fight.

Fitch and Kos, they just literally don't fucking do anything. At least Sonnen punches his way to a takedown or gives ass-knees. Fitch and Kos are literally there to hug you for 15 minutes.

Don't even get me started about Askren.

People should really appreciate fighter for their style in the cage and putting it all on the line in the cage. Too not be a fan of a fighter cause he's not "likable" or a personality seems a little ridiculous too me.. I'm not a nick diaz fan due to his amazing interviews (obviously), he has decent technique and goes for it. Everyone wants jones to lose and hates him, when he is one of the most exciting guys to watch in mma. Enjoy FIGHTERS for how they FIGHT imo. I also crack up when people say someone is "fake'. how does one decide that , when they dont know them in real life?
