He wasn't even trying to finish because he knew there was no universe where that could ever happen, he did run in terror of being finished by Diaz though, which was a possibility in every round.

HERPAJERKDERKJERPHERPDERP, Diaz won so it's okay to end this thread now
Sigbet: Hunt (me) vs JDS (jojo)
Account bet: Anderson (Me) vs Weidman (biscuits69)
Now that we're gettin somewhere, you know we got to give back. For the youth is the future no doubt that's right and exact. Squeeze the juice out of all the suckers with power. And pour some back out, so as to water the flowers.

Have you seen what those eyes are capable of? Guys complain that we need better judges till the guy we want to win gets the bum dec.

I'm locking this because when I click "view your posts," I wanna see current topics, not the same 3 people saying "Diaz" or "Condit" or other one word answers for 50 pages like 6 year olds. Everything that anyone had to say about this topic had to have been said within the first 50 pages but for some reason we're up to almost 100... If you wanna continue the debate, just start over at page 1 and read through it again, because I promise you will not find any new information if the thread is left open.

Condit had nothing on Diaz/ Leg kick scoring

Postby seoulglo » Thu Apr 12, 2012 3:45 am

Watching Diaz Condit again
Strike count?

80% of those strikes seemed to be leg kicks that Nick willingly ate while he was moving forward.
I would call that a decent strategy by Candit, except for the fact that Nick never stopped moving forward.

Combine that with the fact that once they did end up exchanging, Nick got the better of the exchanges.
Much more significant strikes than the leg kicks taken while getting to that exchange.

Then, taunting gestures while moving forward.

And this was a unanimous decision.

Are leg kicks this valuable in MMA/UFC?

Don't significant strikes/ winning exchanges take precedent over "strikes landed"?

Can taunting hurt you, from a judge's POV?

Does

Leg kicks are strikes, he out-striked Diaz.. The problem is that there are good leg kicks and weak leg kicks, Barboza, Jose aldo have better Leg kicks and they're weight classes lower than Condit. I gave diaz round 1,2 and 5 to be honest but I can understand that Condit won. I still didn't like the way Condit fought, he circled around, even ran at times but a W is a W

Not this again. We already had a 100 page thread about this, and I'm willing to bet that not one new opinion or piece of information will be expressed if this thread turns into another 100 pages.
