Carlos Condit vs GSP: CHAMPION!?

Who would you rather see at the head of the WW division as champion. I've seen what GSP has to offer, and I won't complain about a champion doing his best against high level fighters (except Dan Hardy) like most of you dumb donkeys.

We have also seen What Carlos Condit has to offer, tons of skill, aggression, fighting spirit and the mental stamina to coolley execute a tactical game plan over 5 rounds.

(sidenote, Diaz stayed confused all night after losing to Condit. Nate says Nick repeatedly tried to pack his new penny foamposites with medical grade herb. I am choosing Carlos because of his striking and dynamic ground game. Its hard not to admit that GSP is a top tier fighter, but for entertainment value, the last few fights have not been top tier fights.

Who would you like to see own the belt for real?

I'd love to see Condit as the champion, but he stands very little chance.

I think Carlos winning would open up the division more,plus i like his fighting style.Carlos finishes fights unlike GSP,maybe Carlos winning would be best for GSP.

I hope GSP wins just for the fact that if he loses, Linker will explode with ACL surgery excuses (which are legitimate). But I hope he knocks Condit's head off and finishes the fight so all the GSP critics can put their keyboard swords and shields down for a while and scratch their heads.

I want GSP to win just because i'm a huge fan of his. I love the way Condit fights and usually root for him when he fights but not against GSP.

I think the edge goes to Carlos Condit. Carlos Condit capitalizes well on mistakes, while GSP usually stays on the outside, playing to his opponents weaknesses and his own strength. Something he has done well so far, due to his opponents lacking decent all round skills. But Kos has shown in both fights the ground game can be negated. The Jake Shields fight shoved a GSP lacking timing, and Jake Shield is not known for his stand up game or speed. Carlos Condit has better stand up, and a better submission game that is also explosive. GSP has better speed, better take down and perhaps better footwork when it comes to covering a distance.

I think Carlos Condit well take this one, and if this fight occurs it will be great to finally see a well rounded fighter face the WW title holder for a belt unification match.

Both fighters understand subtleties of the MMA game, and both are eager student of martial arts.

I consider Erick Silva to be the WW champion and only when he has his title match will i consider the winner to be the undisputed champion. A fight between him and Rory McDonland would perhaps be the closest to an unofficial champion match.

even tho gsp doesn't throw many combos, his timing is usually better than what he showed against shields. I believe gsp's own excuse about blindness in his eye begniing in the 2nd round.

I want GSP to win because I had ACL reconstruction and I could not belive how much it fucked me up. I am glad at this stage I can walk without a limp.

GSP used to finish fights, that was before he had the belt and before he got Serra'd. After seeing that Condit can execute a game plan in order to win an important fight, I'm afraid the same thing that happened to GSP's fighting style will happen to Condit's fighting style. Once you have the belt, all of the fights are important.

I'd like to see GSP retire as the champ. He makes everyone else look silly, and his brand image is pretty high. I'm sure he could subsist alright on his name and achievements to date.

Plus, without GSP in the picture at all, it makes for a very exciting division. If he lost the belt and was still in the division, people would have to fight him without a chance at winning a title -- that wouldn't be something to which many would look forward.
