Reem out?BRING FEDOR TO FIGHT CAIN

Postby CHIPIKO » Thu Apr 05, 2012 11:28 am

What do you think guys? If Mir is going to fight JDS in the end, wouldn´t be awesome if they finally sign Fedor to fight Velasquez??
I know it´s pretty difficult, but hey, business is business after all, and it´s a win/win situation, both for fans and for UFC: offer Emelianenko a reasonable contract,at this point his team is going to accept (I hope...),you have not only saved your event but even INCREASED (for sure) the PPV numbers by bringing the GOAT (like it or not,he is), and Emelianenko finally achieves his goal to compete in UFC.You see? Taking advantage of a bad situation! This is an oportunity that Dana shouldn´t miss, it´s going to be free coverage with all the noise this Overeem´s situation is making, and tell me, who doesn´t want to see Emelianenko vs Cain??what a fight should it be...the table is set, they only have to make the right move...
What better place than here? What better moment than now?

I like the idea, but I still don't think MIR is ready for JDS.. And they can't just give FEDOR the title match coming in so I don't really see what Dana and Joe Silva will come up with..

Pretty pissed off and bummed we get robbed of Reem VS JDS though.. Fucking roids!
If I wanted to hear from an asshole.. I would fart!

I see what you mean man, but it seems they are going to pick Mir anyway for the title, and I think it has more sense to put Fedor against Cain, because he is the "newbie" and dam, they can´t offer him the fight with JDS in his debut (they don´t even gave that to Lesnar LOL)
In the other hand, the way Velasquez and Emelianenko fight...can you imagine?FIREWORKS, it´s a perfect match, you know, styles make fights.
As I said before, this could be a great oportunity for everybody

This would be amazing. I just hope Fedor has finally started training properly in a cage.

Maybe he won't? Maybe he gets KOd? But maybe he doesn't. Maybe we are treated to a classic Wand performance, which will be all the more sweet because we fucking BELIEVED in this hero of our generation.

I hope that too...
The thing I´ve always admire from Fedor is his intelligence in the ring, besides his other physical habilities. I can´t understand how bad he did his transition from ring to cage, it´s time he has learned from past mistakes.
A good training camp is all he needs to, it´s amazing all the things he has accomplished just trainning with his "budies" in his "local" gym, you know what I mean, with all due respects.

Wow. Great idea, this never crossed my mind.

I think Fedor vs. Cain is a great matchup, but would it still be a number one contender match?

I don´t know what happened, I wanted to open a new topic, and it ended up on an open one.
Anyway, the other topics are different:they are talking about putting Fedor against Dos Santos. My take is another one.
Yes, I´m a whitey, but I´ve been following MMA since 1997,and maybe I have something to say, don´t you think, blackie? 8)
If you don´t like this post, simply do not post on it, or even read it
You see? very simple!

Beign the pool of HW at this state, i don´t know...but i don´t think is fair, let the winner gets 2 more wins and then it should has more sense...But you know,if the thing can be promoted well, because as I say before, business is business and if Dana and company see good numbers, it´s going to happen.

Man, I LOL, but...now you said that, I´m afraid: Sapp always finds a way to take fights, and Dana can use it just to fuck Vadim and company LOL

It would certainly save the card, but I think Fedor would want JDS.
