No, he never had Hep C.

Sergei said he drank himself into Hep C so you're wrong.

Aleks “didn’t meet CSAC licensing standards” for an Affliction card which lead to all sorts of rumors at the time. The most popular one being hep C. As far as I know, the mystery never was cleared up and most people just stopped caring about it.

The Hep C thing was just a bullshit rumour. European promotions wouldn´t allow a fighter to compete with Hep C.

Stop trolling, you can´t get Hep C from drinking.

He doesn't have hep, but Sergei did say that...
...and it was hillarious

"All organizations in the world know about his hepatitis C and nobody wants to have business with him. He has drunk himself into this disease. He is drug addicted alcoholic and criminal. All his disrespectful remarks to the athletes are just a bullshit. How can he fight with hepatitis? Nobody gonna take him to any tournament. He lies that he hasn’t been to prison but it’s not true, he has."

I have lived in Russia. It is cooler and more noble to not show emotion when posing for pics in general. Every ID card looks like a prison card

Do you even know what fighters are on the M-1 roster? Many of them are champions in different combat sports and they have great skills. Don´t hate, appreciate

I thought Aleks was a bad motherfucker too, but turns out he's just another young guy who didn't earn his tattoo's and paid for them. He even had to get his stars covered up - probably because if the actual bad guys had seen it, they woulda cut it out of him.

Are you dellusional or just trolling? The guy spent 5 years in jail for armed robbery. You just don't wear Vory v zakone
stars on your shoulders public in Russia if you don't belong to them. He quit being an active member and then you
hafto cover up or the'll do it for you, in a not so nice fashion.

You my friend seem very ignorant.

In an interview published on March 21, 2008, his brother Fedor, in response to a direct question, confirmed that Aleksander had spent time in a prison after he was sentenced to 5 years, but was released after 3.5 years. Aleksander, however, has several times denied ever spending time in jail, including in an interview published on December 5, 2008 in the same publication where his brother commented about the issue. Some commentators have put in doubt Emelianenko's prison time because of Japan's strict immigration policy against convicted felons, which normally would not allow him to fight in Japan as he has done,] while others point out that some of his tattoos are an indication that he spent some time in jail, although some of his tattoos would indicate a status which he could not achieve at the time of his imprisonment for being too young.

He paid for his tattoo's like all the other young rich guys do nowadays and covered them up when someone smart told him the really scary guys won't like seeing them.

You probably saw that Russian mafia movie with Viggo Mortensen and now think you're an expert on the russian criminal code. Cute.

I do know he has lied about not being in prison to cover up his past, but other than that please give me some reliable sources of what you are claiming. And please.... to claim the Emelianenko family was rich back in the days.. these two shared the same wintercoat in the army and ate vegetables grown by themselfs because they didnt afford to buy, they were poor and most assumable thats why Aleks got in trouble. Life back then in Russia was far from easy and your full of shit.

That movie..... pffft..
