I feel like Zuffa saw this thing coming the whole time, probably assuming they'd eventually buy out the other major organizations and basically smoke Fedor out. If he ever wants to get into the UFC, he'll have to leave M-1. Honestly, I don't even see what the big deal is about dropping them anyway, fighters have done it before and have been fine. Fuck politics in MMA, just let dudes fight.
Dana is playing it like Fedor has completely missed the boat on this one, but honestly I could see him just playing it like that to make Fedor a little desperate; he might finally have him where he wants him. Then again though, he might be completely serious and genuinely mean that Fedor will never fight in the UFC.
what did he want? and what did they offer?
I think the culture in Russia is different to America, much more loyalty. I know for fact it's reflected in their business industry with the lowest retention in employment going to America who serve shareholders before employers and the highest for Japan who serve employers before shareholders, perhaps Russia has that loyalty factor, not the business factor..
