If he ever wants to get into the UFC, he'll have to leave M-1. Honestly, I don't even see what the big deal is about dropping them anyway, fighters have done it before and have been fine. Dana is playing it like Fedor has completely missed the boat on this one, but honestly I could see him just playing it like that to make Fedor a little desperate; he might finally have him where he wants him. Then again though, he might be completely serious and genuinely mean that Fedor will never fight in the UFC.

what did he want? and what did they offer?

I think the culture in Russia is different to America, much more loyalty. I know for fact it's reflected in their business industry with the lowest retention in employment going to America who serve shareholders before employers and the highest for Japan who serve employers before shareholders, perhaps Russia has that loyalty factor, not the business factor..

I think fedor can find plenty of competition and money in the US out side of Zuffa, after all his Strike force run was terrible y would anyone think he would do better in UFC

He clearly still has some talent left but not enough to get past the bottom of the top 10 which is a real shame for the GOAT... Please do what Cro Cop should have and hang em up

They offered him all the benefits of being in the UFC, different marketing deals, a shit load of money per fight, and probably a quick road to a title shot considering who he is. He was looking for co-promotion because of M-1, which would mean that events that he was in would have to be promoted as UFC and M-1 events, and the UFC wasn't down to co-promote. I get that he's loyal and stuff but damn, did he miss out.

Clearly Fedor will take less money now. Why doesn't Dana just offer him less and fuck off with the grudge? He's the worst for holding grudges.
Account bet lost. Thanks Frank Mir for the worst display in your career. That was the most boring fight I have seen in a long time and maybe it's time for you to hang them up!

Still hilarious that Fedor and M1 wish they could go back in time and take the deal.

If Dana offered him $6,000 a fight and on the prelims i think it would make vadim so angry his head might pop.
