Thiago Alves VS Diego Sanchez. This fight could be FOTY and would clear up, what both of them should do with the rest of thier careers.

I would like to see this matchup, i think it would be explosive. it would be similiar to diego kampmann imo, alves looked really really good against kampmann until he turned into a wrestler for 10 seconds. i would give this victory to alves in a very close decision.

ahh diego does the whole rocky marciano thing. eat punches and then beat you when your tired. He just been fighting high energy guys. Alves could tire...

Diego hurt himself in training. Kos stepped up on like a week or 10 days notice to a number 1 contender fight. Alves had one of the last fights in years in which he looked good against a top level guy. And after this Diego decided screw it and moved to LW.
All in all I think this would be a pretty interesting fight still, hopefull get one guy back on track again.

I believe Sanchez was injured and replaced with Koscheck.

Man, I wouldn't like to see this. Diego wouldn't get Alves down, and unless he and fought like he did against Kampmann and clipped Alves, I doubt he wins standing. Diego needs a win, and I don't see it here.
