Youtube and UFC Videos

Youtube and the UFC must have some type of media contract. Anytime a fight from the UFC is posted on Youtube it's just a matter of hours before the video is taken down and it is replaced with, "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by the UFC- Zuffa LLC."

If you are going to post links of MMA Fights please try to stay clear of Youtube Links. WE here at MMALinker try to keep the video section from having "broken links" which means, every time someone hits "report broken link" it is displayed to us that it has been reported. We then have to load the video to see if it is a actually bad link, if it is we delete the video/link.

Any help in this matter would greatly be appreciated,

And those UFC youtube videos are usually shitty quality and not full fights

ok thanks didn't know about that contract thing,
I do know that awebsite called break.com shows some mma fights the day aftera ppv, not all the time though just when it is a devastating victory by one of the fighters.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Youtube is the worst place to look for fight videos anyways, but you gotta keep sticking it to the man.

i dont think it is a contract its more they are afraid of being sued since zuffa owns the rights and youtube host the video they are technically breaking the law by showing a copyrighted video without permission. Its not just the ufc its any copyrighted material, somebody complains to youtube and they look at it then take it down (i have a cousin who was a programmer for youtube and i asked him why some vids were like that and above is what he told me happens)

Youtube is AWESOME for shooto thanks to Breen and others who upload there.
Only reason UFC/WEC stuff gets taken down so fast is that the ZUFFA legal team are really fucking quick with takedown notices

As for other sites, there's vimeo, megavideo (sucks because of the view limit), dailymotion, rutube, etc.
Trick is, if you're putting it on a site like mmalinker, is to give the video a cryptic name.
Don't call it UFC 95 Sanchez vs Stephenson, call it 24kjes0df. Then set it to private.
That way, only people YOU link it to will be able to see it. Won't show up for people just browsing the site, and noone will find it easily just from searching tags or names to find offensive materials to take down.

Vimeo in particular also has AWESOME quality. Like, full 720p res if you feel like spending forever uploading quality.

Gotta move fast, you can usally watch a fight on Youtube seconds after it happend. Seems faster then Ive found anywhere. Down side it you gotta load and watch it before its taken down. Hell I got to see GSP Penn 2 on like a 10 min delay.

When the fights are fresh it's not a bad idea to put them.
I had 13K hits on a single video just in a few hours before it got erased.I knew the vids will be erased but at least a lot of people got what they wanted.

The only thing is that they should NEVER be spelled right.
Last time after Affliction I only fckd up bjjminotauros vids by mistake with spelling them in the right way.

@It's funny,a whole bunch of my older videos are still good.

Youtube is going down,people are getting more than pissed off.
For example;
Some girl had a channel with her singing and playing guitar but the songs were popular artists so her whole channel was pretty much erased.
So...No more music videos,movies and no sport because of the copy rights.

I mean what the fuck?
People who go to youtube will only watch crackheads like sxephill from now on?
Fuck youtube.

Yeah,uploading vids on youtube is the same thing as pissing in the wind.
