Oh, I forgot to mention the judges also scored this fight in favor of condit. and even though a lot of people on mmalinker will complain about this judge or that, guess what? they probably still know more about how to judge MMA than you. dont tell me about how smart you are or how many years you've been practicing bjj, point is, you may be more proficient in the actual practice of one form of MMA, but you're not qualified to be a judge who can observe and evaluate the winner combining different things (aggression, octagon control, effective striking, blah blah blah, dont necessarily entail one form of fighting versus another)

Although i agree with what your saying, i disagree with you judging people you dont know. I've been involved with the sport since 2004, training,fighting and teaching. I am "proficient" in alot of aspects in MMA and would take a lawyers opinon with a grain of salt.

The problem is that as a lawyer you have to present facts, but you have only presented your opinions.

Saying someone would not make a decent judge because they have actual experience is nonsense, i also doubt you know what the criteria is for being a judge.

A real lawyer would NEVER use the words BLAH, BLAH either.

Hello. Newbie into mmalinker.. I'm studying for the bar (p. lee class of columbia law 2010) . Yet, I still took the time to watch this event because I do really love MMA. In fact, one of my good friends is part of the “unofficial” (or maybe official?) BJJ club associated with columb. I digress, but my point is, Nick Diaz lost so why do the haters keep on insisting he won? It doesn’t matter. All you’re doing is arguing about what could have been, what might have been, what should have been, etc. But guess what? it doesn’t matter, and assuming you’re just trying to prove your point, that wouldn’t matter because what I have observed thus far on mmalinker, even though you guys hate on sherdog, you guys/girls/whatever are just as polemical as sherdog. Diaz haters and people who actually know about technical maneuvers (I dont want to pool you together) are pretty spot on that Condit won, whereas Diaz lovers and people who like brawling and believe in seeing some crazy ass action in a fight will think the opposite.

I also forgot to mention that (doing this) is also unacceptable as a lawyer. Its a sign of weakness and an inability to write proficiently.

Honestly, this isn't the way I thought I would enter into the MMalinker community. I do have to say the blah blah thing is not prohibited from being used from lawyers. It's ok when being used in a more informal setting, just not in the office/doing work

I used to write letters for a lawyer and this guy would crucify me for(doing this) and speking in double negatives.

But he was a lawyer with an accounting degree and could spots a problem if 6 cents went somewhere it shouldnt have. A hard guy to work for and you could never win an arguement with him.

I just wanted to say welcome to the Linker. I, too, am working towards advanced credentialing. As with everyone here, we certainly need to get away sometimes. I don't usually say much, but I do frequent the site.

That could be a good idea, a fighter should not be allowed to run away from his opponent and avoid the fight. That criteria should be added to judging, takes away points. But I don't think condt really avoided the fight much
