Well, that was a great early Christmas gift. Only Detroit has evaded a crushing defeat at the hands of the Bruins, and they won in a shootout. Best team in the league right now, bar none.

For the sake of argument, I'd like to bring up this quote I made in June:
BestWayKilla wrote:These trades will kill the Flyers. Carter they could afford to part with, but Richards? Who's gonna be the captain, Pronger? The guy can barely play! And Bryzgalov isn't guaranteed to do great. The Flyers set themselves back with these moves. And Columbus is happy as hell right now. Maybe Nash can afford to not have to score every goal now.

Now in December, Pronger is out for the season after only 13 games. And Bryz has hardly been a steadying presence. But Columbus still sucks, and so does LA, so it didn't really work out for anyone, but the Flyers are still pretty good. But the Bruins are still better

You guys can guess how I feel about the Canucks game, I'll save my thoughts for my fellow B's fans. I respect the Nucks fans on here too much to let loose about what I think of their team. But I wish to say this: I freaking love Shawn Thornton. Just a filthy penalty shot goal tonight, and then he put Tony Gallagher in his place on CSN. Shawn Thornton is my hero.

Cammalleri traded during the game? For speaking the truth? Juicy!! That's right Habs, just keep digging the hole a little deeper

Also, Subban is a bitch and should be suspended for that forearm to Krejci's face. The way he turtled when ference came in to kick his ass was priceless.

^ Cammallarri is a cheap piece of shit speaking of Pk being a dirty cheap bitch lol

those were the first two videos i found, but he has more classless acts to be seen.

I personally think Habs won huge on that trade, get a younger player with tons of potential and dont got to deal with Cammallarri whining. Also, I believe Bourque has more goals and thats what Habs need. Plus, their clearing shitting the bed and about to start rebuilding so good bye players with lengthy contracts and at the same time leavs Flames with little money to work with now.

Squid is by far the superior hockey player. As a Flames fan I'm happy with this trade, although they are fucked for cash now I don't think very much salary is coming off of IR any time soon so hopefully that gets solved at the trade deadline.
We all need some place we can go away to, some place where we can be who we should have been instead of who we are.

That your nickname for him? I wonder where you get that from. Anyway, I think this trade is a total win for the Flames. Bourque is too inconsistent and Cammalleri was only saying something their captain should have been saying.

Too early to tell who won the trade. However, ever since Cammelleri had a kid he's been in a slump. Either way he's overpayed and we got rid of a bad contract. I like that we got a 2nd round pick.

Truthfully? Well then, with all due respect*inhales*....

I think Dale Weise is a pussy and a waste of a uniform, and he knew Thronton would kick his ass. In fact, the whole team couldn't find their courage until six of them were on top of them after Bitin' Burrows tried to spear him in the throat. Throwing Lucic out was just the beginning of a series of god-awful calls that affected the outcome of the game, a call the NHL rescinded. The ensuing 5-on-3 was unforgivable. Ryan Kesler is allowed to get away with almost anything, and the Canucks could not score one goal at even strength, and needed the refs to help them to score.

*exhales*There, I said it. Now, I hope we can still be friends.

  Fair enough. To be honest I haven't really gotten over last year's loss so I was thrilled to see us beat Boston. Portyaing the Bruins as victims in this game is a little unfair, you guys were sloppy and we got the better end of the powerplays. Obviously I'm completely biased towards the Canucks though... 8)

I don't see them as victims. I saw the Canucks trying to act like victims to get calls. I saw the Bruins trying to pursue their fleeing prey only to never be able to catch up to them. It was like watching Nate Quarry fight Kalib Starnes, except the judges gave Kalib the win for running away the whole time. The Thornton-Weise incident to me summed up exactly what that game was gonna be.

I'm a lot more excited about the goalie we got from the Habs, it sounds like he's tearing it up in the KHL... it will be nice to have some competition for Irving.
