nice! it must be cool to have the team you root for actually have an offense, unlike my raidas :x

Yeah, it sucks though because my normal league has like 5-6 Giants fans so I usually don't get my hands on their players, although I did get Steve Smith this year. I also picked up Ronnie Brown instead of Brandon Jacobs/Ahmad Bradshaw. All three went in the same round. I figured the Brown/Williams combo was better than just Jacobs or Bradshaw.

yeah, that was definantly a nice call on brown+ williams over only 1 NYG rb.

haha, its the same in my baseball league. i pretty much cross off any A's and Giants players from my lists beforehand knowing someone is going to overreach pretty far to get them.

I think the Giants D went in like the 5th or 6th round lol, and Eli went in the 2nd or 3rd. Crazy shit like that.

i think best case scenario orton is a fringe top 15 qb, which is most likely very nice value for where he was drafted, or if he was a FA pickup.

romo on the other hand will finish top 5 imo, and is someone you can put into your lineup, and just sit back and watch.

small sample size, but houstons pass D has allowed 850 pass yds, 4 td's, and 0 int's through 2 games to boot. romo is the no.1 or no.2 qb matchup wise this week according to a few "experts" also.

just giving my opinion, of course if you have a weird feeling in your gut to start orton, its understandable. sometimes its good to follow your gut, and it helps that the majority of "experts" are pretty crappy too

I decided to start Romo and Orton beat him for the third straight week, lol. Orton threw for 476 yards

shit, well at least you have two solid QBs then. Romo had a good game, pretty solid, 2 TDS no INT, close to 300. IDK if you can expect close to 500 yds every game, lol

Dallas has the bye next week, so your bye week worries at QB will be over soon

Meanwhile, YES I win my game!

Well looks like my ass got beat tonight...

I'm happy with how my team turned out despite the snake draft, i ended with the 2nd best record and beat the #1 ranked JJets. I lost my starting RB Addai, and still managed to do well with RBs, and had my Dark Horse Dez Bryant turn out well until getting put on IR. But that's how the cookie crumbles in fantasy.

This league though was so dam thin that maybe if we do this again we should lose one WR and one bench slot. It seems like drafting the 4th WR in the depth chart is just unnecessary on draft day, lol.

I did enjoy the shear chaos of a hard as hell Fantasy League, but sometimes it sucked not having the option to pick-up the backup tight end or RB b/c they were drafted before the season started, lol.

This was a learning experience though, and like every year, it makes me love the NFL more.

War JJEts and his No Mercy League, and fuck you ChadJohn for being your bitch in every game for 3 years now

Agreed injuries killed me as well. My first 4 draft picks all went down with season ending injuries lol. I went into the playoffs with virtually all free agents I picked up along the way. If I would have started Kitna instead of Orton I would have gotten 20 more fantasy points and won the first playoff game, but that is the way it goes. I still enjoyed it and learn a little more every year, but no matter what you can't control injuries. There is always next year.
