Ok soccer fans. Netherlands and Germany are both 11/5 to win the whole thing. That pays out 2.20 for each 1 dollar. So what do you guys think about putting a small wager on both of them to win?

Spain 2/1
Germany 11/5
Netherlands 11/5
Uruguay 10/1


Also thinking I will take the LA Galaxy -200 over Seattle Sounders for tonight. First foray into non World Cup Soccer for me.

The Galaxy worked out well for me, I might like this MLS thing we got here in the states. Baseball took me down a notch yesterday though. I got Detroit, NY Mets and Texas today though.

Ummm, I'm not sure about that one. Losing the semis is a hard blow for the germans, and the 3rd spot is really irrelevant. Germany is gonna play with all the non starters, and they're gonna play with very little motivation. On the other hand, grabbing the 3rd spot and defeating Germany would be great for Uruguay.

Yeah I guess it depends on who they are playing. Uruguay will have Suarez back too. I think Uruguay really out played their own skill level though so Germany "should" beat them. Getting shut out by Spain probably left a terrible taste in their mouths, now they are gonna lose to Uruguay too? I would not want to go out like that, but I am not them so who knows lol.

I took TB over Cleveland for tonight.

Also I am trying out MLS again. I took LA Galaxy over DC and Columbus Crew over Houston. The Crew are a slight under dog at home against Houston.

I like soccer because you usually get a + when picking the games straight up because of the chance of a tie. Hopefully no ties tonight.

World Cup and Bodog have made me an MLS fan.

I might bet on Spain winning by more than one goal. It's at +300, and I believe we can make it. I'm not sure yet, though, as I might bet just on Spain winning.

No, I finally decided to take a risk and bet on Spain winning by more than one goal. And I'm actually happy that I did it, because it was a smaller bet than it would have if I had chosen the other possibility. And the thing is, when you bet on one team winning a game it refers to regulation time. There was also the chance to bet on Spain being the champions (which would have included the over time and the penalty kicks), but the odds were much, much lower.

At any rate, I was so happy that I didn't really care one bit.

Oh yeah that is true. Spain to win the whole thing going into the semi-final games had 2/1 odds, I was never completely sold on them though so I stayed away from it. After that the odds dropped bad.

Just got into gambling a bit more and have been a fan of the nba bets.

I got Oklahoma City Thunder over Trail Blazers tonight at 1.95. Thats right its in decimal odds, I don't understand the american way of doing it.
