OH SHIT!-Powerlifting Edition 2.0

Postby KOdestruction » Sun Apr 15, 2012 7:48 pm

The Original thread was badass as fuck but was deleted (and started) by KCmasterpiece

Unfortunately, most of the awesome videos in that thread were posted by KC, Smith, and Triley among others and all of them have been banned so it'll take a while to get this one to match the old one's glory but i think it's possible

To those who didn't see the original thread; basically just post awesome lifting videos that made you go "Oh Shit!"

I'll start it off with Andrei Malanichev Squatting 992 LBS:

and Benedikt Magnusson Deadlifting 1 015lbs:

:Holy: with a fucking smile on his face

I hate Burpees. I don't have the conditioning for them. I'm not gonna lie, I spent the whole video watching the girl. Something about girls doing squats, man...

speaking of strong women:

Body Weight: 163lbs
Squat: 745lbs
Bench: 530lbs
Deadlift: 525lbs
look at how far back her feet are during her bench :?

Lol yeah I know weird.. a lot of females do that. That is a hell of a bench though.

The other day my lady walked up to some guy box squatting and told him to leave his weight on there. That is one proud moment.

^ More proof of how badly the Bay Area needs a serious training facility. I first read that guys website and thought it was all a parody.

I totally agree you should check some of the rubbish 'training' his got Cain doing - for example:

 Imagine what Cain could be like with a proper
S & C trainer

Powerlifting - a competition consisting of the squat, bench press, and the deadlift. No sandbags, no kettlebell high pulls/swings. We've got a lot of Beni's deadlifting, and Malanichev's squat plus one bench video, but precious little else.

Bench Press

Eric Spoto, protege of Scott Mendelsson, the current record holder in the bench press, and the man that Scott believes will break his own current world record in the raw bench:

Hoonstra, who trains like a bodybuilder setting a record for the lower weightclasses at 242:

James Henderson, first man and one of only two to officially bench 700+ raw, has one entire workout in three parts on youtube - here's the first part:

Often referred to as the greatest lift of all time, along with Benni's 1015, is Ed Coan deadlifting 901 in the 220 pound class:

Stan Efferding, self-made millionaire entrepreneur, IFBB Pro Bodybuilder, and holder of the world record raw total in powerlifting:

no love for my Laura Phelps-Sweatt video?!?! That was some quality lifting.

To be honest, i was kinda hoping you could shed some light on the advantages of having her legs so far back. I'm not really what you'd call a "lifting connoisseur" and i'm just baffled by her stance.
