Dude Schilt would take Struve's head off. The fight would never go to the ground and Semmy is 10x the striker Struve ever thought about being. Maybe not now cuz Schilt is getting up there in fighting age but I would still bet on Schilt beating him.

Dude Schilt would take Struve's head off. The fight would never go to the ground and Semmy is 10x the striker Struve ever thought about being. Maybe not now cuz Schilt is getting up there in fighting age but I would still bet on Schilt beating him.

Look at you all would would would. Schilt sucks at mma and gets taken down easy. Struve is 23 ffs. Just wait when struve puts some muscle on that frame for 3-4 years... why are you even comparing this Schilt? I know I have watched his mma fights his good at Kickboxing but thats it.

Yeah because Kharitonov is not a great fighter right? . I think Schilt is probably too old now I mean between his K-1 and MMA fights the dude has fought 85 times, thats a lot. Struve would not want to strike with Schilt, trust me. If people think Aldo and Overeem have good kicks, Schilt's kicks, power wise, are on another level. Struve only chance would be to get Schilt down and I do not think he is strong enough for that. Travis Browne KO'd Struve straight up, I would hate to see what Schilt would do to him.

struve is 6 '11 and i believe schilt is 6 10, making struve the biggest. Im a big struve fan and have been since he started in the ufc. Struve wasnt cut after his 2 loss's because dana and co, view struve as semmy 2.0. The emergence of struve was right after(i believe) dana ttried to sign overeem and schilt at ufc 99(or 98 the one in germany that was rich vs wand). WIth the fail signing the saw this 6 11 kid who was barly 20 and saw the pontential he had when he matured.Struve with a kickboxing record was naturally compared to the 6 10 near 300 lb schilt and was viewed as a future monster. From struves start till now weve seen him put on about 20 lbs onto his frame and by the time hes in his mid to late 20s will likely be cutting down from 280ish. But to the last poster, if you think struve now would beat semmy now, you are utterly delusional. Semmy would straight up destroy struve. Struve wouldnt be strong enough to take the larger in weight schilt down and standing they are miles apart. Struve while a good kickboxer, hes still getting use to fighting at his height and getting into rthyem early. Against a k-1 champion like schilt he would get eaten alive. If struve continues his progression struve will likely be a top 5 hw in 2-3 years but as he asked for last night, i still dont think hes ready for the top guys now. Jds,reem,cain,nog,barnett, dc werdum all beat him at his age now..the only person i could see him beating is mir, as he would rock mir standing as nnir has been shown to not be able to take a puncvh all so well. if kongo is indeed next i see it going 1 of 2 ways. Struve will either start slow and kongo will catch him with something hard or like in the past kongo will be hesistant to stand with another striker( buentello) and look to take the fight down where struve will submit him easy

Struve looks like he is getting worse. He has no aggression and thats why everyone good will beat him. He always lets people hit him first and thats why great strikers pick him apart.
