I cant really say SDR disapointed me...but he definitely still has a lot to learn.

ie: He was goung strait back with no head movement. (sorta reminded me of Tito. LOL

AND, he looked to be gassing a little. Almost like when he hit his back, he was too tired to
defend properly.

Props to Miocic tho... I think this was a Good win for him

Damn it. SDR was doing so good in the first. He still put on a good showing considering the circumstances. Brutal elbows by Miocic.

Well i was wrong about this one. Even though i think SDR was getting the better of him standing in the first, Miocic still looked good both standing and definitely on the ground.

One thing i did notice about Del Rosario is he never circled away from any of the punches, he really only backed up and a lot of the times he was backing up right into the cage which could be a problem against some other guys.

Looking forward to both of these guys' next fights.

I agree. He didn't look good at all.
His defense was shit.. he offered no angles and didn't circle at all. Miocic got the win but neither guy impressed me to say the least. Hopefully he has a better outing the next time after shaking off the ring rust.

I'm starting to like Miocic, more than just as "that guy who wears Cro Cop's shorts."

I realize SDR was landing some nice kicks, but I felt like Stipe wasn't really being hurt by them (or at least not showing it or letting it bother him), and was definitely controlling the pace for the most part. He was on the offense almost the entire time with a couple exceptions.

Good to see someone not afraid to take someone down (and more importantly finish them) just because they know they can. He probably could've kept the stand up battle up for 3 rounds, but why? Good win.

Nice comeback for Miocic. Rosrio was throwing hard body kicks. Those elbows by miocic were very well placed and very hard.

Did Rosario seemed gassed in the second round? Or was it more due to lack of defensive ground game?

SDR really needs to improve his ground game. At best it's below average, but most likely it's just terrible. His striking is great, good counters, great precision. If he can improve his ground defense then he would be very dangerous. I would like to see him fight Barry or Kongo right now. Maybe give him Lavar since they both just lost.

Miocic on the other hand looks to be pretty solid, but he needs to have a better game plan. He should have been trying to get that fight to the ground the entire time and should not have let SDR back to his feet in the 1st round. Overall he looks pretty good though.

Del Rosario took a beating on the ground. He needs to step it up if he wants to stay in the big leagues

Didn't know much about either of these guys before the fight but they both impressed me.
