Official: Mike Swick vs DaMarques Johnson - UFC on FOX 4

Here we have Mike "Quick" Swick, veteran of the original TUF crew & 12 fights in the UFC compiling a 9-3 record overall witht the promotion with only losses coming to Paulo Thiago, Dan Hardy, & Yushin Okami. Been out of action since February 2010 with misdiagnosed diseases and a blown knee.

Quick makes his return to the cage against fellow Tuf veteran, DaMarques "The Darkness" Johnson. Both Swick & Johnson are coming off losses in their last fights, to Paulo Thiago & John Maguire respectively, and both losing by submission in round 2 ironically.

It's really difficult to predict how Swick will perform after such a long layoff with all thats been happening with him. Before his best assets were his speed and power, opponents would expect a blitzkrieg of rapid-fire punches right out of the gate.

Johnson on the other hand has been quite inconsistent his whole career, compiling a 15-10 record and a UFC record of a perfect .500 4-4. But Johnson is a hard hitter & has a rather good ground game from his back as well as on top.

I see Swick coming in and just brushing off the cobwebs for the first round, round 1/2. Then i can see him finding his range and starting to pick and move on DaMarques, overall taking a Unanimous nod.

Did you guys see that show about Swick's health? I think it said something about him having problems with his esophagus or something? Anyway I hope Swick comes back and is better than ever. Always liked him.
