Round 2 was so clearly Maldonados. Very strange.

I thought Maldanado won but it was definitely a close fight.

Amazing Pace by both these guys. Kind of blown away.

If I were Maldonado I would respect the Thai Clinch a bit more though. Can only imagine what Shogun's knees woulda done to him.

I was very entertained ! And, there is no way I could tell who won!...

So, with that said, I cant see how anyone was upset with the decision...it's not like there was a onesided beat down.

Both guys landed great shots, and also took a lot of damage too!

Round 1 wasn't close. It was a clear cut round for Fabio. They even showed that Fabio outlanded Igor in seconds right after his flurry with the stats they displayed. There's no argument here. Igor did very little ground and pound, mostly just positioning and he landed like two knees on the feet in that round and that's it.

I had Igor winning round 1 because of the way the rules are. He had a top position for most of the round till the reversal.

Round 2 + 3 are inarguable in favour of Maldonado, he WON them
Igor landed 3/4 hard punches and 2 clean knees, that's it. Everything else he threw was wiffing/grazing.
Fabio outlanded by a huge amount- does anyone have the compustrike score or whatever it is yet?

Holy crap

I didn't think there was this big a discrepancy.

- Round 1: Maldonado out-landed Pokrajac 36-6 in significant strikes, 47-16 overall.

- Round 2: Maldonado out-landed Pokrajac 26-13 in significant strikes, 60-18 overall.

- Round 3: Maldonado out-landed Pokrajac 36-17 in significant strikes, 59-30 overall.

What...the...fuck?!!!! Fabio even outstruck him that much in round 3?! That's robbery territory. If I didn't want him to go down to MW so much, I'd say instant rematch.

Yeah honestly....even with takedowns and the fact that Pokrajac put more on his strikes, this is embarrassing for the judges......

Definitely gonna watch this fight again. If this was two name fighters there would be significant outrage over this decision.

Maldonado is kind of a stud.
