OFFICIAL: FEDOR SIGNS WITH UFC

After years of failed negotiations, it would appear as though Fedor Emelianeko has finally inked a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Dana white announced the deal via his twitter early Saturday morning:

@danawhite The rumors are true! Fedor will make his UFC debut this summer

The details on the deal are not out but it would seem that Fedor signed a 1-3 fight contract. With UFC 146 looming, there are not many available Hw's, unless Emeliaenko will fight mid - late summer. The winner of Werdum/Nelson, Cain/ Mir, could both prove interesting match ups. While Fedor went on a 3 fight losing streak and has beaten less then stellar comp since, he still proves to be an interesting addition to UFC HW. We will update as the news comes in.

i was just going to post in the brock thread in reference to april 1st, how we can expect to see a "fedor in ufc" thread any time.

Not sure I want to be on here too much today. Looks as though I may end up getting my hopes up. On the MMA Discussion fan page on Facebook, they said that Jones tested positive for steroids agents. But then when I remembered what day it was, I immediately knew... "Fucking hoax"
