Well, if L&P wrestler ever wanted evidence as to why they choose to fight the way they do, they only need to point to this fight. Lentz tried to change things up and be exciting, and look what happened.

There's been memorable things in every fight so far tonight other then the Russow fight, oh and I guess the Johnson fight if you don't count that pretty sweet knee he threw in the first round

evan dunham vs anthony pettis would be fun at some point if dunham can get a few wins in a row or pettis a couple losses...

Guess I won't hate on Lentz for awhile because his last three fights haven't been bad and he's gotten some decent beatings.

I could see them maybe putting together a Dunham/Sherk rematch.
Or Dunham/Guida maybe.

Good for Dunham, hes coming back pretty good, and handled Nik very well.

Hope he keeps it up :)

LENTZ GOT FOTN!?!?!?!?! who would have ever seen that one coming lmao

but yes it was a very good fight by both guys....Lentz is tough as nails to say the least. and i am a big fan of Dunham.

it really is too bad about the cut though, i would have liked to see another round for these two. Evan showed some even more improved TDD and scrambling, Lentz couldnt do anything with him on the ground.

But like someone else said, Lentz got some fans with his last few fights, but he hasnt won them though....so he just needs to find the better balance between using his wrestling and striking, because when he just brawls, he loses, when he just wresltes, he wins, but the fight sucks and he would eventually get the Fitch-treatment, having to win damn near 10 fights in a row before you're recognized lol. So he just needs to find that balance.

as for Nik, give him another solid fighter like Jeremy Stephens

and for Dunham, hes calling for the winner of Lauzon/Pettis, but i dont think he is quite on that rung of the ladder yet, maybe one for win under his belt and i would say sure but for now i would like to see him fight Cowboy Cerrone, good comeback fight for Donald and a good step in the right direction for Evan.

They could always give him the loser of Lauzon/Pettis. Dunham fighting either would be a good fight.

Dunham By TKO 2nd round.

Cut stoppage end of round 2 so pretty much on the money lol

Lol he got fight of the night and a 65k Bonus for NOT lay and praying.
I think thats evidence enough to change things up and be exciting.
I would take that beating any day of the week for 65k US. Bring it back to my NZ and in my currency its closer to 100k.
