Benson is no slouch in regards to kicks...he has a TKD background. He has big legs, flexibility and puts his hips into his kicks...I wouldn't say for sure that Cerrone kicks harder ..

To be honest, there isn't much his chin can do about a head kick. Unless he has a Fujita skull, he's gonna feel that. As far as Cowboy goes, he has a very upright, Muay Thai style that's pretty much ingrained in him from his kickboxing days, and that's not likely to change.

If you look how frankie ate bensons kicks like a boss you'll see the differences in chins...

True, but Benson doesn't kick like Cowboy. One is a wrestler, one is an ex-professional Muay Thai fighter. I will say that Frnakie's chin is certainly better than Melvin's, he survived that barrage from Maynard after all, but I doubt a lot of fighters would just take that head kick and that right hand and just walk through it.

Bendo is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do....his kicks are powerful. Plus, you see the size of his legs?

TKD kicks are hard, but not like Muay Thai kicks. Muay Thai kicks are all about turning your hips and body into the kick, stepping into it. I had forgotten about Bendo's TKD background, but I'd bet anything Cerrone kicks harder, especially to the head. Bendo seems to throw his best kicks to the body. Cerrone's kicks would be harder to the head and especially the legs. Bendo has big legs, but you don't kick with the thigh, you kick with the shin. I get what you guys are saying, and believe me I wouldn't want either one of them to kick me, but I'd just tend to think Cowboy would kick with more force when delivering a head kick.

This may all be true, but that fact still remains that Melvin has no chin. It wasn't a hard flush kick. And Melvin was dropped recently by a baby jab or something. He's the black Chuck Liddell!!

Dude that was Capoeria kick those are harder then all of the kicks in MA... bc they generate more power from their core and get more leverage and a better angle. Watch Sports science if you dont believe me.

Maybe, but the odds of landing that are pretty damn low. Of course, to take one of those kicks full on and not go down is impressive.

The longer the legs the harder the kicks in most crcumstances, obviously some fighters seem to ignore the laws of physics.

Yup man im just so upset Guillard could be so much better and I think it will be his chin not his mentality that holds him back! I wonder if the Cocaine fucked up his equilibrium so whenever he gets rattled their is some serious damage going on.
